One suggestion for your channel, there's a few popular outliers on your channel, copy those formats with other anime/anime characters
hey ive got a question. So I'm mainly a shorts channel abt motivation. I've gotten a couple thousand views in total, but sometimes, when i post, I get literally 0 views. Like, none at all. 0 shown in feed too. I've noticed that this is usually when I use slightly different hashtags. So my question is basically, do titles and hashtags matter that much? And if so, does that mean I should use the same hashtags every time or none at all?
titles matter, hashtags don't matter that much, tags usually don't matter, description matters, hashtag keywords might matter

I have 2 questions
1. I've had a serious issue on my latest video. Recently I've uploaded a new video. One of my subscribers have got to the video through the suggested feed of another completely unrelated video and clicked, liked, and commented. This caused the algorithm to recommend my video to more of that unrelated niche which has caused my video's Ctr and views to drop dramatically. I'm just wondering if there is anyway to avoid this in the future and potentially get more views.
2. Another issue I face is that any video I upload gets a high amount of impressions through the suggested/up next. Although this might initially be seen good and gets thousands of views it ends up meaning that not many people stick around, like, comment and it hurtd my retention. I believe that this is because people don't mean to click on my videos since my videos might auto play. I'm just wondering if there is any way to get my videos impressions moved from the suggested feed to browse feature. I know it's a unique issue but it would mean a lot if you could help!
And if you are wondering about my upload frequency, I want to let you know that this happens to all my videos regardless of how often I upload them.
1. TH-cam is just doing its thing, let its algorithm work and find the right audience. One subscriber alone isn't enough to make conclusions for the algo, give it time. Just keep on creating videos and put in your best effort
2. It's not harmful to get views from suggested. Browse features and suggested videos have different algorithms at play, so browse feature CTR for example is not the same as as suggested videos CTR at all, the same with watch time etc.

thanks! I feel like sometimes when you stop the video in order to play that 'button' game, the viewer might get a bit pissed off because that's not why they started watching the video, so they're left a bit less satisfied in the end. Besides that the buttons are off-screen which looks quite weird in my opinion. Generally shorts are ofc very short and they also target younger audience and that inherently means you'll earn way less than long-form

I don't remember which voice, but there's plenty good ones. For shorts its really simple, create content that appeals to a relatively broad audience and create a good hook.
When i post a shorts video it shoots up to 10k-15k in a few hours, but then instantly stops gaining views (only 5-30 views per hour) for the next few days until it only gets a couple of views per day. (I get around 97% retention and over 70% CTR, sometimes way over 80%). Why don’t the shorts go viral like other shorts in this niche? 🤔
What you described is very normal shorts behavior. Retention also depends on the duration of your shorts, if it's 10 seconds then 97% retention isn't as significant as 97% retention on 1 minute short. Focus on making good hooks, picking good topics, and learning from your competitors on what they're doing differently
what are some other niches i can explore instead of my channel?
I've had some success, but it seems like my peak was last year. I don't upload as much as I should, but I mean I haven't really changed much so I'm confused as to why I'm in a grey area.

Could be a lot of reasons, I'd need to see the channel for more context. A lot of the times if your content is extremely saturated and there's just too much supply compared to demand, youtube will barely give you any impressions,

@@giyonzergiog You would definitely get some impressions in that case, but it's just overall a bad strategy. Focus on markets with higher demand and lower supply.

I have a channel that's a little a year old and monetized. I think the niche isn't popular anymore so I want to rebrand the channel. Do you recommend rebranding the channel like you did or should I start a new channel. I feel it would be a waste to let the channel go cause it's monetized. Did you delete or unlist your previous videos. I feel deleting my older videos will trigger a red flag to the algorithm. My channel went from getting views to nothing.
You can rebrand it no problem, but don't delete your old videos. Keep them until you start receiving a lot of traction with the new content. After a couple of months or even years, depending on when your videos start performing you can start unlisting your videos one by one, day by day, but not all at once.

This channel is my “failed” channel because I switched to shorts, posted some long form videos and deleted them because of the lack of views. basketball is really hard to make money with, but if I were to make content about basketball I'd just search 'basketball moments' on youtube, filter by last month and write down all the basketball channels, then I'd look for what content they're making and try to replicate it

I assume you mean musicians who also stream. Music is good idea, but main views will come from topics you choose and they will stay if you have charisma/entertaining personality. Look at your competitors who are succeeding and see what they're doing differently than you

so when it comes to broad content like let's plays and doing challenges, your personality and charisma does the heavy lifting, you have to essentially be naturally talented with good commentary and the other attributes I mentioned

Your video topics probably have relatively low demand and high supply

since animated content is way harder to produce, I would focus more on quality and the topic of the video instead of quantity and producing as many of videos as possible. Look at your competitors and notice their outliers, that should give you inspiration

That's interesting, because scriptwriting is my weakest link. I don't really consider myself a good scriptwriter, but regardless, for this script I tried to be as concise and true to myself as humanly possible. Whatever I said in the script, I made sure it holds weight and there's no empty words behind it. Everything you saw in the video was nothing but genuine advice with as little sugarcoating and fluff as possible. If it made a good storyline, then hey that's a bonus :D

Videos are too short sometimes and you need to create amazingly outstanding content if you want to succeed in minecraft niche, I'd recommend switching to something else. The videos you make would've probably worked 10 years ago.

WHY would I watch yours if your video about crypto terms was there? Just saying 'learn all crypto terms' doesn't entice me enough to watch your video. You also have the video 'you will be poor in the future' --- most people already know they're gonna be poor in the future if inflation keeps up, tell them something they don't know that's interesting. Apply this channels strategy @this.science to your finance/crypto videos and you should see improvement.

My immediate thoughts is to change the niche. Your videos might be entertaining and have good ideas, but minecraft niche is very saturated. The only people nowadays that succeed in the minecraft niche are the ones with entertaining/charismatic personalities or with remarkable ideas, like for example @nikoyaps

cool idea concept, but there's no future. You'll hardly make any money with content like this. Also, try to use common sense, your videos are kind of a meme. Noone is naturally interested in watching a movie in 256x speed, it's not educational and its barely entertaining. I'd suggest changing a niche to something else that has to do with movies, but staying on the same channel.

I personally upload quite rarely - once a month. On other channels of mine I upload daily or every other day.

How much you for an editor depends on the length of the video and the complexity - vfx, sfx, trimming etc

If you're gonna use AI voice, make sure it sounds as good as the video you just watched, because I'm also using AI voice, but it doesn't sound robotic/unnatural.
Create longer videos, 5 minutes isn't gonna cut it, they definitely need to be longer.
Look at your outliers: forgotten cartoons and hated characters. Obviously there's some demand in those topics. Your next move should be creating videos around the same topics, like: most hated cartoon shows, most hated episodes of some cartoon show, forgotten cartoon characters perhaps, most darkest cartoon characters, top 10 deleted cartoon show scenes

Healthcare niche here, more specifically, how to heal/cure with diet and not meds. 3 weeks in, 38 subs. A little slower than I was anticipating but 8 of those subs were from the last 2 days, so that's decent. Slowly growing, bit by it.

You can start with multiple channels, there's noone stopping you, but it'll be harder to grow all of them since your efforts are gonna be split

Don't use any such softwares that automate basically everything, if it was that easy to succeed everybody would be doing it.

Gotten through a lot of failure with bad video ideas, not so good editing, niche etc. Learned from my mistakes but I’m still kinda stuck in the grey area of youtube. Every now and then I get some views but they get stuck at a cap of 1-3k views at max. (This is not my first channel!) I’d greatly appreciate a channel case study!
