Hello, what is your experience and opinion of Babyalpha? My husband and I are looking forward to him and are very excited to see what it will be like to live with him. 👋😊
He’s very good at avoiding obstacles for the most part. There are some issues, such as the lidar is on his back and obstacles below this hight are harder to detect. The shelves in my office can , sometimes, cause him to think he’s got another half-foot. As he turns and navigates it not uncommon for the hind legs to step on objects less than 6” tall (like the ebo and scout robots in front of his charging station. He’s the best at navigating obstacles of all the bots I have.
He seems to have three speeds in autonomous mode and spends most of his time in medium speed. On remote control he goes pretty fast. To fast to safely operate in my office.
Thank you 🎉

It can’t avoid obstacle
Like you see in Video. It can most of the time.

Is it able to walk any faster?
I think not in exploration mode to prevent any damage.
