Yes this is real talk... finally! My prayers for God to miraculously remove a tumor over night didn't happen but He was faithful and held my hand through chemo surgeries and radiation. By His love and grace I'm still His!

I cry, weep, pray, rock, write while listening to your album. the part when you said, "I'm not clinging to get something, clinging is the blessing". God had to highlight to me this week to check my motives! ouch! I love how you said, "we can come out of hardships with a stronger friendship with the LORD and NOTHING on earth can compare to it" I have to write this on my calendar as an encouragement/ reminder. this is my prayer that God has my full attention, with pure motives, and that he will be ENOUGH even after the hardships! God allowed something happen to me last July, which I've been clinging to Him since. He's been showing me that He is always, always with me no matter what happens. Hard times are coming, cling to the Lord as much as you can. He loves you. Thank you, Lord Jesus. Thank you for sharing your testimony, Kim. God bless.
Oh Kim, this is sooo good! I lost a 14 year old son to suicide in 2006. When I say the Lord has carried me day after day after day... He brought me to *Acceptance* a great while ago. Even so, a few years ago -- as I clung-- I was wrestling with some questions about it all. Eventually the Spirit whispered to my heart and said, " Do you want answers or do you want Me?" Whew!! God certainly has ALL the answers but what He really wants to give us is (more of) Himself! Thank you for sharing with us! Clinging is the life! 🙌🏾🙏🏾❤

Thank you for sharing this video, Kim. I shared in your last video that I just lost my husband last November 27. Right now, only God can understand the depth of my pain. And I choose to cling to Him in my pain. There's no other way. I had to pour out my heart to God today (crying rivers) and I was being honest to Him that He is all I have but I don't feel Him. While you were speaking (in this video), I felt as if God took my honest words I spoke to Him today and placed them in your mouth. And then you reminded me that God is present. He is right here while I'm going through this very difficult time. And He is faithful. Thank you.

Yes, I’m a believer! I remember going through a really rough time and I told some church members about how I was crying and didn’t think I could stop and how I actually felt as if He had me physically in his arms holding me. Well needless to say they looked at me as if I had lost my mind 😂 but I know He was and is with me.
girl, I believe you. I remember weeping on the floor. I gave myself a hug for the first time ever and I was so surprised of how good it felt. It felt as if the Lord himself was hold me, hugging me it felt so good.

This is so important. Often we think the clinging is easy. However, the Lord is so gracious to allow hardship to draw us close to Him. I went through a very dark time. It was so hard. Even now thinking about it …. Now, I know the Lord loves me and is faithful.
Sis, yes, He truly is gracious. While we're in those dark times, He can even seem far away at times. But He's right there, tending to us as only He can. So grateful for His faithfulness. Blessings to you! 💚🙏🏾
Thanks Kim for sharing the hardships we encounter as Christians. The crucified life as you shared is not ministered in the public arena as much as the "walk of Righteousness.". We all must carry our crosses and the way will yeild unforseen attacks and challenges. We must keep in mind that nothing we see in the natural realm is what it looks like on the surface, especially since scripture states that "the vision is for an appointed time, though it tarry wait for it." Truly a lot of my clinging to God has always been eruption of pains, failures, denials, unanswered desires and prayers. But one thing is so sure He knows all about it, though I really don't understand why. But in these pains I have been able to see God teaching and forming Himself in me... making me more like He wants. Even our trials and sufferings are common to all according to the word of God. I agree with the title because I experienced a few hardships recently and I just cast all my cares on the Lord and told Jesus I may not have anything but all I need is you. And the next day God provided for me. I did not stress or anything but was content and that was my result.
When I am overwhelmed I find myself going to God and bawling, pouring out my soul because no one else can help me. And I said God you said this. You said that. Now please help me. After all that I just sit there. Kim, I thank you for being real because not many people are. And as a child of God who is trying hard to cling, I NEED to know there is hope in God.

Ah, yes and amen! I'm praising Him for His promise to *never* leave or forsake us! Sis, you know some of my hardships as well, and it does not take much to propel me right back to the evening of April 22, 2014 when my life as I knew it shattered - I can remember every minute of that night, including kneeling on the landing of my stairs while the living room was filled with paramedics, begging God to do a miracle and change the outcome. In that minute, I knew His answer was going to be "no", but I also felt a true peace that passed understanding surround me. I felt His presence. I knew, even though I was about to be walking through fire and being swept over by the waters that God would be right there and I woud not be burned or drowned. He was right - through anguish, heartache, sadness, and so much uncertainty, He has NEVER left me and I agree that I am closer to Him now than ever before, mostly *because* of His provisions and mercies even in the midst of hardships. The joy of the Lord is our strength, even as this world tries to steal and kill it, and the closer we cling to God, the more we see His love and mercy. Thank you for sharing some of your walk, too, Sis, and I hear you on that parenting front! It is NO JOKE. You know Jaden is only 8, and whew......BUT GOD. By the way, I'm loving that yellow top! :) Yellow is my fave color, and you were rocking it! 💜 Hugs to you!
Sis, I vividly remember that time AND I vividly remember the peace and strength that you exhibited. God was ALL OVER YOU. There's no way to fathom having that kind of peace in the midst of tragedy other than than knowing it's all God. Your testimony resounds to this day and I rejoice in the faithfulness of God in your life. (And thank you... I found your channel a while ago and am so thankful I did. This particular message really hit home as I have been dealing with the fallout of one my children's poor choices for about five years now and there is really no end in sight. I can relate to the sobbing, heaving cries and the fear. Although the first initial pain has faded somewhat, the long haul pain is still there. Clinging to my Savior is the ONLY way I can even get out of bed some days. Thank you for your openness. I understand fully the idea of some trials not being open to public discussion. Oh, and I bought your Cling book and am reading it now.

Kim thank you. I know many of us needed to hear this part of your story again. I know He doesn't give us more than we can handle, His timing is not always ours, His love is greater than any we can have & He is always with us and still feel I fall short. You've helped me direct my focus to seeking His presence, quieting my thoughts enough to hear Him. Through each of your series I know I've been clinging closer. I may be a slow learner loving God all my life yet seeking my own way. You've helped guide me to seek a relationship with Him. I've been able to not only stand on the rampart but a big part was first finding that rampart & taking time. He's made Himself present in this time. Where I still struggle is in believing that His love is greater than the wrong decisions or paths I've taken. I've seen miracles praying for others believing those for myself is a hindrance,probably not the right word but I don't want to use doubt. It's a struggle between knowing I'm forgiven & reaping what I've sowed. I do seek Him. I still ask for prayer requests. I believe they do line up with His Word. I don't know which I seek more but I know it's still progress even in my latter years now going through 7th decade I believe with good health & long life He'll satisfy me though am not worthy but because of His son. So on the rampart I stay and it's where I seek His presence. May God bless you and your family abundantly as you're a voice for Him toward us. 💕🙏
Sis, I so felt the words that you shared. You HAVE to believe that His word is true and applies to YOU. He is a God of forgiveness, and He casts our sins away, as far as the east is from the west (Psalm 103:12). We have all made wrong decisions; His love is not contingent on our deeds, good or bad. He just LOVES. And He loves YOU. Receive that, sis. Step out of the lies of the enemy and allow yourself to be loved FULLY by your Abba Father. 💚🙏🏾

Yes, I know the feeling of being offered something and getting all excited about it just for it to be taken away. It's like being slapped twice in the face. I felt stunned and no explanation was given to me. Because I leaned on the Lord he gave me the answer. "And we know all things work together for good to those who love the Lord. Those who are called according to his will." I was in a comfortable place and God was showing me it was time to return to my family. And yes, the biggest blessing for me is to cling to him. I needed this video this morning. I’ve never looked at hardships as blessings. I’m going through a tough time right now and I needed this reminder to turn to Him, instead of continuously turning over the same thoughts.
Sis, I'm so thankful this was a timely video for you. Hardships don't feel like blessings at the time, but in hindsight, I know they strengthened my walk with God and my faith. Praying the Lord's hand be strongly upon you during the time. 💚🙏🏾

Thank you for sharing this video, Kim. I shared in your last video that I just lost my husband last November 27. Right now, only God can understand the depth of my pain. And I choose to cling to Him in my pain. There's no other way. I had to pour out my heart to God today (crying rivers) and I was being honest to Him that He is all I have but I don't feel Him. While you were speaking (in this video), I felt as if God took my honest words I spoke to Him today and placed them in your mouth. And then you reminded me that God is present. He is right here while I'm going through this very difficult time. And He is faithful. Thank you.
Oh, dear sis, I'm thanking God for His faithfulness as I read this. I can't imagine the raw pain you're feeling, especially when you also didn't feel the presence of the Lord. For Him to make Himself known through the video....I'm just in awe. He's such a good Father. Yes, I’m a believer! I remember going through a really rough time and I told some church members about how I was crying and didn’t think I could stop and how I actually felt as if He had me physically in his arms holding me.
Well needless to say they looked at me as if I had lost my mind 😂 but I know He was and is with me.
girl, I believe you. I remember weeping on the floor. I gave myself a hug for the first time ever and I was so surprised of how good it felt. It felt as if the Lord himself was hold me, hugging me it felt so good.

This is so important. Often we think the clinging is easy. However, the Lord is so gracious to allow hardship to draw us close to Him. I went through a very dark time. It was so hard. Even now thinking about it …. Now, I know the Lord loves me and is faithful.
Sis, yes, He truly is gracious. While we're in those dark times, He can even seem far away at times. But He's right there, tending to us as only He can. So grateful for His faithfulness. Blessings to you! 💚🙏🏾
Thanks Kim for sharing the hardships we encounter as Christians. The crucified life as you shared is not ministered in the public arena as much as the "walk of Righteousness.". We all must carry our crosses and the way will yeild unforseen attacks and challenges. We must keep in mind that nothing we see in the natural realm is what it looks like on the surface, especially since scripture states that "the vision is for an appointed time, though it tarry wait for it." Truly a lot of my clinging to God has always been eruption of pains, failures, denials, unanswered desires and prayers. But one thing is so sure He knows all about it, though I really don't understand why. But in these pains I have been able to see God teaching and forming Himself in me... making me more like He wants. Even our trials and sufferings are common to all according to the word of God. Ah, yes and amen! I'm praising Him for His promise to *never* leave or forsake us! Sis, you know some of my hardships as well, and it does not take much to propel me right back to the evening of April 22, 2014 when my life as I knew it shattered - I can remember every minute of that night, including kneeling on the landing of my stairs while the living room was filled with paramedics, begging God to do a miracle and change the outcome. In that minute, I knew His answer was going to be "no", but I also felt a true peace that passed understanding surround me. I felt His presence. I knew, even though I was about to be walking through fire and being swept over by the waters that God would be right there and I woud not be burned or drowned. He was right - through anguish, heartache, sadness, and so much uncertainty, He has NEVER left me and I agree that I am closer to Him now than ever before, mostly *because* of His provisions and mercies even in the midst of hardships. The joy of the Lord is our strength, even as this world tries to steal and kill it, and the closer we cling to God, the more we see His love and mercy.
Thank you for sharing some of your walk, too, Sis, and I hear you on that parenting front! It is NO JOKE. You know Jaden is only 8, and whew......BUT GOD. By the way, I'm loving that yellow top! :) Yellow is my fave color, and you were rocking it! 💜 Hugs to you!
Sis, I vividly remember that time AND I vividly remember the peace and strength that you exhibited. God was ALL OVER YOU. There's no way to fathom having that kind of peace in the midst of tragedy other than than knowing it's all God. Your testimony resounds to this day and I rejoice in the faithfulness of God in your life. (And thank you... I found your channel a while ago and am so thankful I did. This particular message really hit home as I have been dealing with the fallout of one my children's poor choices for about five years now and there is really no end in sight. I can relate to the sobbing, heaving cries and the fear. Although the first initial pain has faded somewhat, the long haul pain is still there. Clinging to my Savior is the ONLY way I can even get out of bed some days. Thank you for your openness. I understand fully the idea of some trials not being open to public discussion. Oh, and I bought your Cling book and am reading it now.
Kathleen, as you could tell, I understand what you have been going through. It's not easy, and it's a very real form of grief. I'm so thankful that we can cling to the Lord and know that He is with us and He is sovereign over it all. I so pray the Lord meets you in a special way as you read the Cling book. Kim thank you. I know many of us needed to hear this part of your story again. I know He doesn't give us more than we can handle, His timing is not always ours, His love is greater than any we can have & He is always with us and still feel I fall short. You've helped me direct my focus to seeking His presence, quieting my thoughts enough to hear Him. Through each of your series I know I've been clinging closer. I may be a slow learner loving God all my life yet seeking my own way. You've helped guide me to seek a relationship with Him. I've been able to not only stand on the rampart but a big part was first finding that rampart & taking time. He's made Himself present in this time. Where I still struggle is in believing that His love is greater than the wrong decisions or paths I've taken. I've seen miracles praying for others believing those for myself is a hindrance,probably not the right word but I don't want to use doubt. It's a struggle between knowing I'm forgiven & reaping what I've sowed. I do seek Him. I still ask for prayer requests. I believe they do line up with His Word. I don't know which I seek more but I know it's still progress even in my latter years now going through 7th decade I believe with good health & long life He'll satisfy me though am not worthy but because of His son. So on the rampart I stay and it's where I seek His presence. May God bless you and your family abundantly as you're a voice for Him toward us. 💕🙏
Sis, I so felt the words that you shared. You HAVE to believe that His word is true and applies to YOU. He is a God of forgiveness, and He casts our sins away, as far as the east is from the west (Psalm 103:12). We have all made wrong decisions; His love is not contingent on our deeds, good or bad. He just LOVES. And He loves YOU. Receive that, sis. Step out of the lies of the enemy and allow yourself to be loved FULLY by your Abba Father. 💚🙏🏾

It was frustrating and discouraging, but eventually I learned I was gaining something from those experiences. It's hard talking about disappointments while you're still dealing with them. I'm learning to cling to God even as I continue waiting on promises. Thank you for always sharing your journey! 💜
Some of those closed doors were God's way of challenging me to create new ones, and for that, I'm grateful. 🙏🏿

Yes, I know the feeling of being offered something and getting all excited about it just for it to be taken away. It's like being slapped twice in the face. I felt stunned and no explanation was given to me. Because I leaned on the Lord he gave me the answer. "And we know all things work together for good to those who love the Lord. Those who are called according to his will." I was in a comfortable place and God was showing me it was time to return to my family. And yes, the biggest blessing for me is to cling to him.
