Ekhidna and Ancient Leshen work really well together. One increases stamina every time you cast a sign and the other heals you every time you cast a sign. Just dance around a fight at the start and continually cast Aard Sweep (half a stamina bar per cast, so quicker. ) You can then heal whenever you want. Because your stamina is so high in a fight you can stun lock enemies and even survive the White Frost indefinitely out of combat.

Thanks for sharing! I would say Ekhidna decoction is helpful, too, as it generates vitality everytime we use our stamina. Great for those who often cast sign or use special sword attacks (Whirl or Rend).
@@gordonweintraub6634 You could also combine tawny owl, ekhidna and archgriffin if you'd prefer to use your sword. I also like to mix in the ancient leshen if you expect the fight to take long.
Griffon potion is strong too because It acts like succubus déduction, but for damage resistance= the more you take a type of damage, the more resistant you become

In my opinion Aracha's decoction+Echidna's is good too, (especially Echidna)if you play in Deathmarch and if you know how go to Skelige isles early and get Echidna mutagen!!!This is very helpful for survive couple of times before reach hi levels to create your BUILD!!! I think you get two shots at it, one with the contract and another one in skellige when you do the quest for the master alchemist. Personally I found the contract one easier to live with because I perceived her to be lying about self-defense.
Chort is the best all round because its extremely useful for every build in almost every fight. The description should have said: You can now parry unblockable attacks.
Ancient leshen is one of my favorites altho its worded badly in vanilla, it hastens stam regen with only ard sweep and maybe firestream not sure about that though, u need a mod fix to allow it to function like its description
The game does a very good job of making u not wanna kill any of the 2 succubus in the game. I recently did the quest in Novigrad and i let her go to then remember that there only is 2 in the game and the choice of killing the other 1 is even worse as she is activly trying to keep humans away from her but they keep coming back and she is instead forced to use magic to make them go away rather then killing them.
Is succubus that Op? I tested it and it gives a 30% damage boost that's it, water hag give's 50% at full health and when im in a endless fight against 14 level above guards wyvern build my damage 1% up endless each hit.

euphoria wolf swords with manticore armour 4 the win. Just 4 essential alchemy skills, put levity on the chest so you can use Cat school training. Put on your rubber boots cause there will be tons of blood.

I always love playing with light gear. The three I use is Troll, Ekimmara, and Wyvern. Mix those with Thunderbolt and Severance on your swords. You become a literal whirlwind of death. Even if you get hit just keep swinging and you'll regain health while also building more attack. You can even add a fourth if you have enough toxicity which I add either Succubus or Griffin.
Side note with the fifth skill tree passive that increases damage with your toxicity level. Most fights will end in a matter of seconds because you'll have at least 100 to 150% damage increase at all times just from that alone before any other increases but that's more for late game and NG+. The increases become pretty insane after a point. I finish most fights in literal seconds even on Death March unless it's a boss that teleports or spams aoe then you will have issue because the defense is trash.
you should try out the werewolf decoction some time, bit tricky to use but i got up to 168/s stam regen in combat with it. it's like having a free set of griffin armor
I've happened to notice that i have some of the monster's mutagen in my inventory but i can't see their decoration formula not listed in the alchemy. Can you help me why is it so? Do i meed to acquire their formulae too? And if yes, where can i find then?🤔
Yes you need to find the formula as well as the mutagen, usually you can buy formulas or find them in chest, for example you can find and buy the troll decotion from the woman herbalist in white orchard

I've searched what happened to her and it's said that at the end of the game when you visit Ciri at the end you could see her getting burnt in the stake. I didn't see it tho... cause I was mostly looking forward to seeing Ciri again
Unfortunately it's random if you don't buy it from Tamara the herbalist in white orchard, yes depending on what ending you get she will be burned at the stake, just have to search random chest or go to other herbalist hoping it may show up

You dont have to use anything if you don't want to up to you, but decotions can be really help especially when up against tougher enemies or boss fights, but most of the time just making sure your blade is oiled with that specific monster oil will help a lot in most scenarios
When you meditate , it automatically replenishes all of your bombs,decoctions and potions using strong alcohol . You probably already know it but just in case.
How long does it take for the succubus decoction to reach its make threshold (30%) during a fight? I'm having a hard time finding the answer to this question.

It is a good decoction only problem is I wouldn't put it in my top 10, plus it confuses a lot of people, they don't really know how to use it to apply the buff which best way I found is counter attack then quick attack then cast sign, after that the buff should be applied for the next 2 attacks, sometimes feels like a lot if that makes sense I use it on occasion

It is a really good decoction, I was going to add that to the list of the top 10 but me personally dont always find myself using it as much as the other 10 but if I had a top 11 then yea I probably would've had the katakan on the list, but you are absolutely right on the build with the katakan Decoction
for the sake of anyone reading this, the ancient leshen decoction is bugged, it only works on a few signs, you can download a mod to fix this on pc so if you are on console, you are plum out of luck
I wish you could manually sort your potions, so dam annoying once you have almost all and gotta check 5 decoctions because they look the same. especially alot of time wasted on menuing on console for no reason. meh
Sucks game forces you to meaningless and non sense kills just for the mutagens😡...granted, the succubus in the woods was a bit more dangerous than the one at Novigrad, but the doppler was totally harmless and no way I gonna kill him...Btw, I was "friend of Trolls" since TW2, but 3 forced me to kill so many with no other option😭😡👍
You need to kill a Troll first and ghather all the ingredients at ALCHEMY. You will have the chance to kill one ( troll ) later in game, lever 23 + Just remember, not every monster needs to be killed.

With Acquired Tolerance in the alchemy tree you can use 4 decoctions at the same time.

Arachas decoction is underrated it should be on this video,it makes you super tanky with light armor and low inventory space
Arachas plus ekkimha/griffin plus water hag equals god powers, together with a few alchemy skills

Fiend Decoction alternate take; use it in tandem with Strong Back while clearing out smuggler's caches in Skellige.

I cant find the ancient leshen decoction formula. I've checked every herbalist and still cant find it anywhere any tips. It's really frustrating

There is also the Ancient Leshen which there are only 2 as well. Duplicant there is only one. All missable as the Succubus are.

Just be sure to get the aerondight sword...itll upgrade its damage according to your level

Werewolf , was great to give that Decoction to Roach 😁

Do I have to use a decoction when I fight that specific monster or can I use one for any foe (utilizing the benefits across the board)?
You dont have to use anything if you don't want to up to you, but decotions can be really help especially when up against tougher enemies or boss fights, but most of the time just making sure your blade is oiled with that specific monster oil will help a lot in most scenarios

Kill them on normal mode, spare them in game+. Having said that, the succubus is a demon... Like Geralt says... It WILL kill at some point.

Everyone on YT is HORRIBLE at explaining how to get Troll decotion lol ..
You need to kill a Troll first and ghather all the ingredients at ALCHEMY.
You will have the chance to kill one ( troll ) later in game, lever 23 +
Just remember, not every monster needs to be killed.
