Tips for monster's nest. Leave at least 1 item then meditate for 6 days. Make sure to be far enough before meditating, at least 5 steps away. You can farm materials and runes quicker to sell 😅

Im playing this in 2024 because my 13 yr old told me i was uncultured and classless for playing the game for an hour or so years back and never played again. Lil turd was right about RD2 so im giving it go. Love Skyrim and many say Witcher 3 is much better.

When in Velen immediately head to Novigrad the merchants there give the most money for Items. Then when through adventuring you become over encumbered you can fast travel and sell items for the most money

Literally the best game money can buy. Bought complete for 5 doll hairs on psn and wow thousands of hours of fun. Youre probably going to need to replace your console before you get bored of this game.

Two best pieces of advice for this game. The first one is to loot, absolutely everything. When you're out in the world, harvest every single plant and herb, that is in your path. The second one is, do not waste your hard-earned cash on buying. Weapons and armor and blueprints from vendors because one they are super overpriced. And almost guaranteed, if you just go out and explore and play the game, you will loot these things anyway. Save that cash for the late game

Yeah, probably the greatest tip, if I had to give a single tip is loot, absolutely everything. Everything you see, everything you can pick up, take it. Unless there are guards present then don't, But still try, Just make sure they can't see you. The second tip is, don't waste your money on buying Weapons or armor That is just a little bit better than what you're currently using. Because almost guaranteed, you are going to find armor or weapons that are better. Then the one you're trying to buy, that's extremely overpriced on your own by just playing the game and exploring. Save your money for when you really need to spend it.

took me 60 hours to get to act2 on deathmarch. im level 21 and just been enjoying the game. don't even think I have watched tip videos besides where to find herbs. This game is that immersive. I love the Witcher books so playing as geralt is amazing. only thing i need to get better at is gwent lol

One more very important note for players who are afraid to miss out on sidequests when they advance the main story: Only sidequests related to CHARACTERS IN THE MAIN STORY can become unavailable. All of those quests, with the exception of Following the Thread and The Fall of the House Reardon, will at one moment appear at your questlog or start when you talk to the related character (Talking to Zoltan for example after freeing Dandelion starts A dangerous Game). Also be sure to talk to Vesemir at Kaer Morhen. He gives you a quest there that also is missable. There are small quests/events that trigger when you approach certain places or people on the world map. Several of those are timed or only trigger at day/night. They are all very small and insignificant however. If you miss out on those don't worry. If you see yellow exclamation marks on your minimap its a good idea to check these out. Check out the Message Boards at Lindenvale and Novigrad to Start Following the Thread and Fall of House Reardon. All other sidequests/Witcher Contracts you can complete after the main story if you want. Its what I prefer to do myself. As many guides have stated before The Isle of Myst is the great cutoff point for timed quests.

Heres another tip: Mandrake Cordial and Redenian herbal are good investments. Buy them whenever you can from innkeepers and merchants.

I don't get the whole loot everything part, a lot of loot is just useless in that moment and a collosal waste of time. Would Geralt go around stealing everything anyway?
