Hey, just finding this now. I’ve learned lots from just watching runs, but this is the first channel I’ve found with step-by-step instructions for mincaps that actually work. Just wanna say big ups to you and keep at it, this is very well made!

I am confused when you need to start pressing y because in the audio cue there is a part were there are a bunch of small beats and then a loud one. Do you need to press y then or do you have to wait for the next beat?
I think you're referring to the part exactly at 1.48 of the beat. That extremely fast beat is just an indicator for when the beat changes - nothing needs to be pressed here. Wait for the beat that I showed in the video for the Y presses. I hope I could help :D

Thanks for the tutorial! Quick question tho; When you do the CRC incorrectly and accidentally capture the binoculars, isn't it still OK because ur still at the main location of metro kingdom, meaning u can still collect all the moons? Or is there something I'm forgetting that makes it a bad thing?
If you're doing minimum captures then this counts as a capture and is no longer the minimum lol

Tip for cascade CRC, the lining up is the most important part. As long as you line it up correctly, you can easily adjust everything else

I've got pro video making skills XD I learned all of minimum captures because a friend of mine taught it to me and they already knew it. Don't ask me how they learned it though because I have no idea :P
@@Cleverstar i can tell you've improved a lot! having the inputs on screen really helped! also i will keep that in mind p.s i know i've asked a lot of questions on literally every guide hopefully last one (this has nothing to do with min caps or SMO) 1. do you know if fiverr is a good custom stream layout designer i just started streaming like... 5 weeks ago?? and my layout is crap and i had heard of fiverr so i thought id check it out but ask you first because every other streamer doesn't reply to comments 2. do you have any tips for streaming? i'm asking mainly because my only viewers have BOT next to their name and don't add to viewer count and my mods that i've assigned. if you want to critque my twitch to give some better tips i can give you my twitch name (i swear its not self promo) i wont put it in this comment because nobody asked but thanks again for making this beautiful guide (good job 3 year old)

I dont know when im supposed to press y at the very beginning of the second beat because its different from the segment showed in the video.
Its quite hard but if you replay the part in the video a couple of times then it'll work well :D

About the mistakes, you said if cappy comes back to Mario you were slow on moviment. But which movement are you talking about??? Beacuse I'm doing all movements correctly and cappy is returning to me. And i was shaking the cappy controler.
The jump from the railing onto the red box - you're probably doing properly just practice doing it even faster
