This is an older video so you might not see this but if you do. Hi! I’ve been watching your videos for nearly ten years and I’ve never commented until now. Videos like this mean so much to me as it reminds me of when I lived in an old Victorian house that my parents and grandparents bought that needed renovating. The house was lucky enough to come with an allotment and a good size of grass land. I went to school in the city and came home to the countryside where I would fix the old lawnmower, build sheds and plant tomatoes with my grandad. He has passed on now and I have had to move into a city hundreds of miles away from that house but these videos transport me back to my old home when I can fix lawnmowers and build sheds with my grandad in the stunning Scottish countryside once again and I honestly can’t put into words how thankful I am for that. Seriously so happy I have these videos in my life.

I work on lawn mowers for a loving and I never had the thought cross my mind that anything I did everyday could be considered asmr related... now everything I change oil on a push mower I'm going to get tingles... hahahaha. Thanks man... 😊

Use it to get the drainage ditch on one side of the yard done. Also gets under the trees and shrubs. After that it’s the zero turns time to finish the job.

No oil change??!!! Mister, if you were standing in front of me right now I'd ..... LOL, change the poor fellas oil or I will have to report you to the proper lawn mower authorities.
How many years has it been since you've changed it? Lol I hope it's at least a cheaper brand and not a really good one, otherwise I'd definitely recommend changing it. We used to buy a cheapy 20-21 inch (MTD or Yard Machines brand) mower at Walmart every 2-3 years. Never changed the oil in it and probably mowed the large front and back lawn 25-30 times each per year. I would check the oil every now and then to see if I needed to add more, but don't recall changing it. Mainly because it was such a cheap mower and the wheels would literally be wobbly and about to fall off by year 2 or 3 and the bolts holding the wheels on would be rusted/seized and usually not want to tighten or loosen. When you factor in the $100 cost of a new mower just a few years ago, four new wheels and the bolts/nuts to go with them cost over 25% of what an entire mower cost. Of course, now things are different. Now even the cheapy is pushing $200 if you don't want self-propelled. Bought a nice new expensive Troy Bilt about a month ago at Home Depot. I loved that it had the large rear wheels. I always saw the brand on TV and thought, "I'm going to buy a really nice one like that someday." We bought it, I got it home and right after opening the box, it was already leaking oil out of the front of the motor and also out of the air hole in the filter housing. The instruction manual was written by someone who clearly wasn't speaking my kind of English and their diagram didn't make sense or explain things properly for putting the handle on. Normally, that is a super easy process, but this was a different kind of handle and different way of connecting it to the mower. I finally figured it out, but then found the leaking oil and it sprayed even more fresh oil into the new air filter as soon as it ran for a short time. Took it back, returned it and bought the $160 cheapy MTD/Yard Machines brand, instead. Not a problem at all, had a better handle on it with no drama, etc. Sometimes more expensive isn't always better. Though now that we are beyond the $100 category and I like the new mower, regular maintenance and yearly oil changes should keep it going for at least 4-5 years. To me, the $100 one just wasn't worth changing the oil in since it would run for the 2-3 years before it fell apart and just needed a little new oil added now and then. But even though the new one is still rather cheap, I like it and want to keep it in good shape.
@@user-tb2jy9lu3d I work for Lowe’s and when I bought my first house I picked up a mid-range Troy-bilt mower. I couldn’t even make it through one round of mowing the tiny yard. It bogged down in moderate length grass and I hated the speed control mechanism. I returned it and went across the street to Home Depot where I picked up a Honda similar to Mr. R’s, except mine has a hydrostatic drive. It cost nearly double the Troy-bilt, but might be the best purchase I’ve ever made as a homeowner. It’s simple to operate and more reliable than any vehicle I’ve ever owned. A decade later and with minimal maintenance, she still fires up with a half pull after sitting all winter.

It cost nearly double the Troy-bilt, but might be the best purchase I’ve ever made as a homeowner. It’s simple to operate and more reliable than any vehicle I’ve ever owned. A decade later and with minimal maintenance, she still fires up with a half pull after sitting all winter.
Such a great video! These always totally make my day! Only thing that concerned me was when you used the grinder on the blade it looked like those sparks were flying right onto your hands. That just sounds like it’d hurt to me. Hope you’re ok, lol!
Thanks for your concern. The sparks did not bother me:)
yo this HITS!!!!!! unreal good! thank you! :)
I really liked this, if you have any other around the house chores you wanna film I’m sure they would also be great. The more “unintentional” asmr that you do so well is emphasized in this type of video.
Noted!
Love the video boss 😎😎😎👏🏽👏🏽
Glad to hear it
This is so relaxing
Glad you think so!
Man u should see my husband's shed lol urs is totally fine :) great video as always!!
Ugggg, wish you started it up after it being freshly maintained. Now we're left with a cliffhanger
Ooh, it’s been awhile since I’ve seen a chore video from you. I’m excited! :)
Hope you enjoyed it!
man you are so underrated
Thanks mr RelaxingASMR s2
I have to fix a John Deere that was passed down to me and it has a checklist of problems. But it will be so worth it once I can ride that baby around my yard, I can't wait.
Great great video I hope you get the opportunity someday to make more (chore) videos, amazing content! 💯
That shed is more organized than my closet.
I love that I got a lawnmower ad before the video lmao
That's a messy shed? Lol! You should see mine! I have a scythe, if you know what youre doing and have it properly sized it can be pretty efficient
It's been 5 years since we've seen another chore video! You need to do more chore videos, plus an aquarium update, a billiards game video, and a crossword puzzle video
So you liked the billiards video did you. I have really been considering uploading another one of those now that I have gotten better at it.
@@RelaxingASMR yes the billiards video was excellent! You can also consider doing another solitaire game too. I learned how to play solitaire by watching your video
Thanks for the content(:
My pleasure!
Thank you for the video, always cheers me up. Im always dreading the day you no longer upload.
Thank you, but let's not worry about things like that. If you're lucky, my son will carry on my channel:)
I think that is a truly happy idea. And very fitting, considering all of the family keepsakes you've shared with us over the years, for this channel to be passed down as well. It would be one heck of an addition.
Hi the spark plug leaks compression u can see it from the top my recommendation is to change. Thank you by the way for the video
