I have now had my 2023 PCX 160 for one year. Today I turned 10,039 K. I ride near Mariveles Bataan. Paved mountain roads and large highways. I have taken it to Mania 4 or 5 times. I feel comfortable and safe driving it. I have the oil changed every 2,000 K. Other than that I have no repairs needed so far. I would say it has been a very good value for the money.

Nice review. I am retired, from the U.S. The last time I owned or dove a motor cycle was 40 years ago. I got the new PCX 160 in February. I have no complaints, except I feel cramped on the seat, I am a large guy. To date my longest day ride is 218 KL. My driving impression is that the PCX 160 is "Plush" It just feels nice to drive. It has enough power for what I do. My favorite thing is the brakes. Finger tip and powerful. This is important to me as I am a nervous rider and sometimes I braker hard. The acceleration is also good for me. I live in Bataan, near MT Sammat. So I enjoy doing the Mariveles loop. Up and down the winding mountain roads is a joy. When I took it in to the dealer for the 2,000 K service the mechanic did add some coolant. I will check it again soon and if it is low I will ask them to replace the coolant tank as you suggested. I wanted my first motor cycle here in PH to be an old used one but my wife insisted that I get the new one (safe, reliable, and with proper papers) and friends said that the Honda PCX 160 was the one to get "If you can afford it" I am glad that I listened to them. In two weeks I will take a trip to Manila. Wish me luck.

I own PCX 150 2019 like you. Just got new ADV 160 this week; A nice upgrade that adresses PCX's flaws you and I both feel let it down somewhat. 1 no more juddering CVT. 2 better tyres+suspension for better ride comfort. 3 nicer saddle material. Cheers for your great review of PCX 160. IMHO think ADV would suit your needs and roads better. Cheers from Jakarta 👍🏻 Better late than dead/Arrive alive 👍🏻

*Ride Alive* Hi, as a recent retiree from Australia, I was somewhat gobsmacked to notice that road rules here in the Philippines are rarely adhered to. Everyone appears to adopt a "first in best dressed" approach to riding/driving, as though they have to absolutely pass everything in front of them. A lot of cars and heavily laden trucks will overtake on double lines, and will miss sideswiping oncoming vehicles by mere inches. In the inner city precincts, the amount of traffic on the move is just visual chaos. But having said that, it's totally amazing as to how they manage to avoid each other in what can only be described as a "vehicular waltz". Coming from side streets, one just drives in amongst it all. Horns will sound, but that's all. One thing that's absent, is instances of road rage. I tend to smile with the thought that if road rage exited here, it'd be the biggest "free for all" ever witnessed, covering several city blocks.
For all that though, the people here are super nice and ever respectful, and that's definitely a plus. In OZ we drove on the left, gave way to our right, and gave way to all traffic on a roundabout, so In order to gain confidence in driving/riding here on the right, I'm looking to buy the new Honda160 PCX ahead of buying a car and therefore to gain the experience of "waltzing" with my fellow motorists, lol. Enjoyed your video, and found it most informative, to which I thank you sincerely. Cheers, and ride safe...

      Everything is true. Hahaha.
The Honda PCX is a good choice. The Honda ADV is another. If you wanted a more flexible scoot and if the budget allows, go for a 400 cc.

Purchased a new 2022 PCX 160 ABS last year with zero miles from my local dealership last year. Tax, title, tags, out the door for under $5,000. I actually just hit 800 miles on it, time for that first oil change! It's great for local commuting and for cruising the town. I'm 5-10 180lbs. I've gotten top speed of 67mph consistently. It's a fun little scooter for sure. Will be trading in next year for Honda NC750 DCT motorcycle.
