    Talking about comfort, I was going to complain about the seat being too hard then I realise I'm just tired from WFH. And the leg space Is the best coming from a sport bike. Need some control? Tuck your leg to the center, need to lift the pressure off your knee? Put your feet forward on the slope and rides like a cruiser! Happy with the bike.

    First time motorcycle rider here and bought a 2022 PCX, so far I love it and it rides great!! I'm getting about 90 miles to the gallon which is just crazy!!

      My wife just picked up a 22 pcx and I tend to steal it and leave my cbr650r at home 😂 it's a sweet scooter and a blast to ride around town. We took it on a 180 mile ride this weekend and it got 90mpg (actual mpg from filling up, riding and filling back up again and doing the math) that's crazy even for it not being broken in yet as it only has 450 miles on it.

    Well done with this personal summary of your 150. I purchased a 2004 Silverwing, firstly, because it’s a Honda. Secondly, the price point was at a comfortable amount for me. But, before I took it on the road, I hauled it straight to my mechanic for a comprehensive servicing so I don’t get stuck on the side of the road. I specifically bought it for my daily commute to work and some nice weekend cruises to the beach. Ride on, brothers and sisters!

    2 main reasons I've been researching this bike is the cost efficiency and comfort. I owned a Yamaha 650 and I too suffer with lower back pain, and when you said it doesn't effect your back I smiled from ear to ear. Going look for one tomorrow thanks man

    2 years / 13,000 km..... hardly long term. I have over 50,000 km on my 2020 PCX 150 in two and a half years. No mods whatsoever, other than upgrade to Pirelli tyres as they needed replacement. Been reliable and economical over that time.

    2012 150 since 2012-13. Only about 15-16000 km. Only break was a broken coolant hose at the overflow tank under the seat. Fixed it myself. Have replaced plug with a platinum NGK, coolant, brake fluid, brake pads, tires, batteries and oil all myself. Runs great. Cost initial was 76,000 baht in Thailand.

    The clutch bell shudder can be avoided if you don't put a lot of load when your going from a stop. Don't spool the motor while just sitting still. Partial throttle when taking off until the full engagement of the clutch. Minimize the work the clutch as much as possible and you can drill the clutch bell which can help reduce problems down the road. Have fun!

      What do you mean when you say ‘don’t spool the engine’ I own a 2018 model on 20K miles and mine always shudders when setting off but it only does it when it’s cold?? Would you say this is a problem. It’s always done but didn’t think of anything because it disappears when it’s warm

    • @ridealive
      @ridealive  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @jesusacovarrubias1390 it's an option that some of the riders do in the Philippines, the goal, I think, is to increase the friction. Never really did that. I dont believe in it. I think it just damages the clutch.

    In my neighborhood the choice also came down to two scooters in my price range. A 2022 Piaggio Liberty 150 or a 2020 Honda PCX 150.
    The Piaggio was probably more comfortable, but it felt clunky and awkward when I rode it. The Honda felt natural.
    And I can find a Honda dealer everywhere I go. Piaggio dealers are a little more widely spread.
    I'm buying a windshield and tail box. That's about all it needs.

I am not sure about long term as the speed in the US needs to be 70 -75 and mine levels out at about 65. I love the 45 -50 feel while riding. Thanks for the review. Other than that I really love my PCX and I'm shooting for a long term runner. I'm hoping to get a hundred thousand miles before a worn out engine is worn out. Right now I'm at 20,000 on my 2019. I am not sure. We do not have 125 cc here in the Philippines. You would be able to tell this later on. When your bike reaches 2000 (assuming it's new), it will shudder when you are between 1 to 15 KPH.
