The MLB Has NO ANSWER For The Philadelphia Phillies...

- The Philadelphia Phillies are absolutely dominating the MLB right now! The Phillies are currently leading baseball with the best record in the MLB and just keep getting better as the season goes on. Whether it be clutch hitting from Bryce Harper and the offense or the breakout from Ranger Suarez the Philadelphia Phillies are currently taking the MLB by storm. If they keep this up then they will be strong world series contenders because right now there just is no answer for what the Philadelphia Phillies are doing.
#philadelphiaphillies #phillies #baseball #baseballhighlights #mlb #mlbhighlights #mlbnews
The craziest thing to me is they’re doing this without their $300million shortstop. There aren’t many teams in recent history that could spend that much money on such an important player/position, lose him for a month, and increase their winning percentage/lead in MLB.
this squad is deep, feels special for sure
especially with their $100 million right fielder being one of the worst players in the majors right now. if nick castellanos can just go back to being a league average player (cuz i feel like he should be at least that lol) the phillies would be doing even better. and johan rojas has simply not been making catches either. hes still a pretty new player, and this is basically his rookie year anyway, but once that glove starts to be like it was last year hell be adding more to this roster
so even if some of the other phillies start to cool down theres still some obvious ways for other guys to still contribute and lift this teams floor higher. the phillies have done really well developing and acquiring talent in the last few years and we have a terrific team to play behind the star power weve gotten in free agency. this phillies success seems pretty sustainable and thats what i think the most surprising thing of all, that we dont have to be surprised at the phils doing stuff like this
It's the "alpha flank" syndrome, the alpha goes down and everyone else raises up because they don't want the team to fail after the highest paid guy goes down, they want to show they can win without the highest paid guy
Shows how deep their team truly is
Sosa stepped in and has been LIGHTS OUT in Trea’s absence. It’s been crazy to watch in real time
Bryce Harper is so cool, helped a guy ask his girl out to prom the other day
And ranger beat the rangers last night so he’s 9-0 with a 1.36 era
Tijuan Walker is undefeated also how about that!
@@dennisallen8333at the game rn, Happy to say it looks like he will be 3-0 😂
@@MaxxBaseballi was there also and can confirm he is 3-0 walker is honestly such a hard pitcher to watch but he does pick up wins
Wow 😮
I was at that game!!
I'm a Japanese Phillies fan. Thank you for the great video in easy to understand English.
Mind if I ask how you became a phillies fan? I was born here so it was just part of my childhood to be a fan. How did you become one overseas?
Awesome! What mlb teams do Japanese typically follow??
@@bentyson9424
All beginners are Dodgers. Frankly, people who love baseball are sick and tired of the Japanese media only covering Otani. I myself started watching MLB closely starting with the 2023 WBC, and it was Trea and Tucker that I fell in love with there. I had a bit of a headwind to become an Astros fan and the Phillies had two attractive young players, Bohm and Stott. Also, MLB was perfect for me, as I love indicators, because unlike NPB, I can easily see various detailed data. Sorry for the length of this article.
@@user-qx4sh3bn5c no, no problem at all. Thanks for getting back!
Awsome to see someone that far away appreciate the Phillies. I listen to them every day. Go Phil's
Phillies are incredible right now
The Phillies are loaded. And, they are going to win the World Series this year. I don't see nobody beating them this year. I was saying a year ago. That the Philadelphia Phillies are the most underrated team in the game today. They are determined this year. And, they're hungry.
agreed... Thay arnt underrated anymore!
Your team is winning against mostly shit teams under .500. Just wait until they play, actually, good teams. Also, it's not even June yet overreaction much.
@@blairmcbride5437if teams didn’t lose to the phillies so much than maybe they’d be over .500
As a die hard Phillies fan, I’m not gonna jinx it. Remember how disappointing last year ended against the D-Bags. I’m cautiously optimistic
@@blairmcbride5437 found the Braves fan.
Ranger is pitching out of his mind.
He’s going insane right now
Its called mixing current day veteran superstars with talented kids on the rise. They have a nice 50/50 mix of the two. I think Bohm becoming Tony Gwynn 2 certainly HELPS.
The Phillies lately don’t get hot till around now, and they ride it into the wildcard. For some reason, this year they are just locked in, in spite of injuries, maybe strength of schedule, but they are just dominate.
We have put teams below .500 soooo….
@@OliviaRehrigyeah its not that. Still we have faced a few weak teams. Maybe that has given them more confidence than ever and when they have played good teams it has helped them find ways to win.
@@Rytoast99 I mean yeah, but still you can only play who’s on your schedule. The team was just handed a schedule…. It was up to them to execute it or not. And they obviously have🤷♀️
The dbacks didn’t deserve to be in the ws and the Phillies know
About to break the record for the most wins in a season start in Phillies history
They did, that have the most wins in first fifty games all time for the Phillies franchise.
Watching every game. It’s so exciting to be a Phillies fan!!
Philly is going all the way, no doubt
1964
You cant compare this team to 1964. We're winning like this while injured, its a different ballgame, where pitchers don't pitch every 2 days, and we have WAY more depth. Plus we're already all around better, by a good 5-10 wins at this point in the year, along with a record amount of sweeps, and the fact we also have to play the American League, now. This team isn't a fluke. @dew02300
It's baseball. Anything happens. The highest win team most often doesn't win it all, but it's still an enjoyable, fun season
@@assass7012 What the hell are you talking about? I didn’t compare the two teams in any way at all. My point was no matter how good things look anything can happen.
No holes in the Phillies lineup and top 3 SPs are playing like aces. When they are down in a game they are never out! At the time of this comment the Phillies are beating the Texas Rangers 10-4.
eh Castellanos is doodoo
@@Depress_Alonewoah they won a game at home 👏
Even Cristopher Sanchez and Spencer Turnbull deserve some love for their contributions, as well as Matt Strahm, Jeff Hoffman, and even Jose Alvarado after a rough start to the season for him.
Great pitching staff overall for the Phillies, but when it comes to their best hurler, Ranger stands alone.
It's crazy how they have Wheeler and Nola, both studs, and along comes Ranger who might be better than both of them!
@@MrGizmoRogersthat’s facts right there
@@MrGizmoRogers Ranger has always exceeded my expectations, and I don't think the Phillies knew he'd be a long-term piece of their rotation back when he was just a long relief man.
We are on a revenge tour 😈😈😈
Said the same thing
Phillies Country, Let's Ride!
They are unbeatable despite Castellanos and Rojas playing everyday and being worthless. Rotation has been spectacular. Ranger, Nola, Wheeler, Sanchez. This team is on a relentless mission to win it all, and I think they’re going to win the World Series
Pitchers have to stay healthy
Castellanos been quiet lately but saying he’s worthless is wild
@@ABitefLife he’s on pace for 10 doubles, 12 homers. Making $20 mil, I’d say that’s pretty worthless.
@@pinehawk9600they do, but they have depth if they need it. Turnbull can return as a starter and so can strahm in case anyone goes down
Philly > Atlanta
Tomahawk Shmomahawk!
Funny this pops up in my feed now. A month long slump, multiple injuries with some guys going back and forth, absolutely brutal the way its going post all-star break so far...
Phillies might break the win record for the MLB. But it won’t matter unless they get a World Series title.
💯
Which they won't
i think i'd rather see them win 120 games than win the world series, even though it would ease my heart after the last two post seasons if they finished the job. setting a world record outlives a mere championship. nobody would be talking about 2001 seattle if they won 99 games and the world series.
@@fredcasdensworld They are gonna get a ring
As a Phillies fan who unfortunately lives with Mets fans, it's a good time to be alive
I hadn’t been keeping up with the Phillies since my family had Season tickets back in 2012 and they weren’t great back then. Awesome to have my home team finally performing!
Well this is long overdue! Now I do like the pitching rotation. Wheeler and Nola are a given but Ranger is on pace for a Cy Young Award and let us not forget Tijuan Walker is also undefeated and his season.
Crazy part is turnbull still has better numbers than Walker in his 5 starts when he filled in for walker . In his 6 starts he had an ERA of 1.67 across 32.1 ip. In The combined rotation spot of Walker and Turnbull is 11 GS, 59 ip, 3.20 ERA, 5-0. That combined is another great starter. I hope turnbull can eventually earn his spot back because even though he was only 2-0 his 6 ER across 32.1 innings had him as the 4th best starting pitcher when he got moved to the bullpen. He hasnt been as good from the pen with 5 ER in 7 ip unfortunately he seems to only do well as a starter
@@Rytoast99totally agree
Not going to lie bro you could have said all this in a short for 40 seconds
Phillies fans are feeling great. Only problem is the World Series isn't won in May.
Big Phillies fan here and it's hard not to get too excited. Walker in the 5th starting spot is even putting together decent outings - that's when you know things are going your way! They'll slump at some point but hopefully not right at playoff time. The bullpen makes me a little nervous against good teams but the starters are mostly going 6+ so that's minimizing a weakness for sure.
Finally seeing The Phillies for who they really are and I couldn’t be more excited as a fan. After so many years of pain, it’s been a long time coming
They've had the easiest schedule so far
Really ? EASY? They Just Smashed World Series 2023. Texas.
Thay don’t have a ez schedule
@@TheRealJustJam11 IKR. Playing 2023 Series winners, an this guy says easy? Go Phillies. 🥰

Phillies over the Dodgers in 5 games in the 2024 NLCS
Phillies fan here..... you're wrong, Phillies will be out in the NLDS. I've seen this before... see 2011.
Loving this Phillies hot start!
By the way, it's just "MLB" not "the MLB", since MLB stands for Major League Baseball. For example, "Ranger Suarez is the hottest pitcher in MLB".
Are you expecting someone doing a click bait video claiming there is no answer to the Phillies to not say 'The MLB'
can you teach me to sperg?
Huge Phillies fan here only caution I would throw out there is there early schedule was ripe for a good start. The Rangers were the best team they played so far. But it might not matter with there rotation keeping them in every game. The last Two post season disappointments has these guys seriously focused. Bedlam at the Bank, must see TV I’ll be in the stands.
It's the only Philly based team I don't despise. I'm so excited watching this team
The Phils are HOT, and Phils fans are LOVING IT!!
am a 65 year old man I walked to Connie mack stadium in the 60s with my dad and brothers. do you have any idea how many years that the Phillies were really really bad. a lot more than half of my life. we finally got owners who are spending money for the top players and players want to play here. Woo-hoo Woo-hoo. Phillies Phillies are kicking butt. and I love it.
Remember who their manager is. Topper used to be a coach of the Yankees for the Joe Tori era. He knows what it takes to get this team to win the World Series. We came close back in 2022, in 2023 they just ran out of gas and had too many mistakes vs DBacks. This team should win the division possibly the League pennant and World Series
I want to start by saying the philies are good, but I'm curious to see how they play against the better teams in the nation. Most teams at this time have played 20+ or so >0.500 teams but the philies are at 10 with a 6-4 record. There is still a lot of baseball to be played.
Now, it’s not June yet, but this is reminding me of a certain book about a Soviet submarine….
Simple answer… they are in the right mindset. They believe in their ability and trust in each other. Other than Turner all are healthy as well and that is a big reason for their success. This team is loaded with MVP’s, Gold Glove candidates and Cy Young potential
The Man from Buford Georgia 👍
Like Rob said the 2001 seattle team went crazy that year but didnt get the job done. Yes we can enjoy being the best now but they gotta keep pushing through and stay hot untill October and throughout the playoffs
The phillies have played like this the last 2 years. Unfortunately, they usually dig themselves a hole and then have to dig out in July August and spetember. But look at there numbers from July to the end of season last year.
Philly Native, Just Praying they stay Healthy. Long Season. Lets Hope, Go Phils!
Love the start. But don't get too excited. The Eagles started 10-1 and the Flyers held a playoff spot for pretty much the entire season. We all know how that turned out...
Let’s go Phillies !!!
We old timers remember the '64 team and their epic collapse. Call us paranoid.
All this blah blah blah about the Phillies is gonna have everyone who's chanting right now feeling stupid when the Phillies start facing quality PITCHING!!!!!!!! NO ONE SEEMS TO UNDERSTAND HOW BASEBALL WORKS!!
Only great pitching will beat great hitting. Them facing .500 and sub .500 teams isn't why they're winning the way they are. It's the fact that
1. They've played more HOME GAMES then road games.
2. The teams they've faced thus far have poor records because of horrible pitching. THAT'S ALL THIS IS!!!
You'll all find out soon enough when they face the Dodgers, Yankees, and of course; the team who's shadow they've been in for almost 2 decades now.....THE BRAVES!!! Remember! The Braves already set the tone in the 1st series of the season opener
Okay - the phillies have a better record against the Braves in the postseason you do realize that, right? I'm not worried about losing the season opener. It's the season opener. Bound to be rough. The phillies have always sucked about the first 50 games and they come and pull out a postseason run. It's better to see them doing well the ENTIRE season. Wake 👏 up👏 Mr. Atlanta fan
Huge Phillies fan here was at the 1993 championship game when they beat the braves I was at the 08 World series when they won!! It is almost scary how good the Phillies are 💯 but we can ride this out all year there's no doubt that we should win the World series Go Phillies aka Fightings!💯😎
shotgun, i'm ridin with this dude
We’re on top and everyone else is crying about it? Gotta love Philly.
Having Aaron Nola as your 3rd best pitcher is a good problem to have
shadow ranger's curve with the fastball
When we don't even miss Trea Turner right now and Sosa and Clemens are contributing heavily, yeah, it's just a fun time watching this team right now.
In 2023, the Phillies were 0-3 vs the Rangers, with a couple of games where the Rangers scored more than ten. This season, the Phillies have turned the tables on the Rangers winning the first two so far, and the Rangers have looked overmatched.
They remind me of the late 70's Phils. They got close but couldn't win it all until 1980.
Bryce Harper is the goat
The same thing is happening with the nfl and the eagles 🦅
9-0 now…our Phillies are on a revenge mission and it’s crazy…citizens bank park is packed and loud every game..I went last Thursday, they lost but it went to 11 innings and it was a great game
You’ve made these videos for 3 years in a row. This isn’t a surprise to anyone.
I think they've played like 6 games against teams over .500. Easiest schedule in history
They have a great team no doubt.
We’re cooking!!!!
This was years in the making.
This makes me happy also no we’re 37-14
They haven’t lost two games in a row in a month. Think about that.
Its wickedly remarkable ^_^
How could you not mention the fact Trea Turner is still hurt? And they this good

@@baseballandmore8654 I give them credit for doing more than they're supposed to do against the bad teams. Their record so far is outstanding, regardless of the opponents. But until they take 2 of 3 from the Braves and Dodgers I'm going to hold my tongue with regards to bragging about my team.
Enjoy it while it lasts.
This may be the very first team in MLB history to have FIVE players possibly drive in 100 RBI's or more in one single season. They are on a rampage with no end in sight if they stay healthy.
Have them play more than 10 games against above .500 teams and I'll take their success more seriously
This is such an absurd take
What's this thing of putting "the" in front of MLB now?

They have lost 4 fking 4 games in 4 weeks. I dont want to hear about schedule anymore and I was even saying this. The 4 losses have been by 1.1.1. 2 and 2 were extras.
