Great video as always! As a Canadian I’ll give some context to Tim Hortons. 10-15 years ago, Tim’s was of a deep cultural importance to Canada. The image of watching a minor hockey league game while sipping your double double was successfully marketed as the most Canadian you could possibly be. But in recent years, the quality of their food and coffee has significantly decreased, a lot of locations suffer from drug users and have turned into quasi homeless encampments. This has Tim’s trying new products and strategies to stay current. Recently, they launched pizza flatbread in Canada which was wildly mocked. Even the Justin Bieber ad campaign came across as being desperate for relevancy. That being said, in smaller towns of Canada, the local Tim’s can be as important to a community as a local pub in Britain. It’s still a gathering place of ritual and, although somewhat lapsed, is still deeply emblematic of Canada and it’s culture.
This is pretty accurate. I'd only add that late at night or in more rural parts, it often is (one of) the only option open. Subway and McD's have their reach for sure, but almost anywhere you go, there will be a Tim's.
You missed the best of Tim Horton’s. The donuts are now baked from frozen. Up until the 90s they were made fresh every morning in each store. And Tim Horton was a famous hockey player in the 50s and 60s and named one of the 100 best hockey players. It would be akin to a british footballer opening up a restaurant chain that has lasted 50 years.
Toronto has better pizza than Blaze. If y’all are ever back in town, I’d love to show you some of the spots. I think you’ll find it’s even better than NYC pizza
First time seeing you guys in Canada. Will a trip to Australia be in order shortly as well? You may find similarities between the weather in Melbourne and Toronto (summer)
Blaze is an American pizza chain as well. Surprised you guys didn't try it during one of your many trips in the States. And while you are at it try Five Guys which counts Shaq O'Neal as a major franchisee
Restaurants of this calibre are often overhyped and horribly overpriced. Their food might be delectable and tangy but value wise it is not worthwhile at all.
@@LiveTheDashI would recommend the sea resort, especially Golden Sands ( It's in Varna btw) 😆. But if you want to go to the capital, you can visit Sofia but I think Golden Sands is more beautiful ❤️ If you want to visit something historic, visit Plovdiv!
I would recommend Golden Sands because it is part of the sea resort ⛵! If you want to visit something more historic, you can visit Plovdiv. But if you want to you can visit the capital instead!
Not going to any Matty Matheson's and going to Tim Horton's....tbh not all that throughly researched imo. Drakes place closed years ago and a quick google search would have definitely shown you that. As a Torontoian, kinda meh video tbh
Tim Horton is no longer Canadian. since ownership has changed it's no longer relevant or good. it is basically the worse place you can go now. there is a big donuts and coffee culture here and Timmies does not cut it anymore

I didn’t know shaq had an involvement in 5 guys 🤯
@@LiveTheDash Shaq also was one of the early investors in Google! He is a very savvy investor.
There's been five guys in the UK for almost 10 years. Literally in every major city.

I don’t really use Google
I love fried chicken too but seeing this video I would rather prefer Blaze Pizza since it looked so greasy
Hella greasy in Dave’s
You live four hours away from me come to Sudbury or nice
