Thanks Alan. I used my Samsung S10 cell phone for this one because I accidentally left my camera back back at the cabin. This national park is pretty far away from everything, so it doesn't get the crowds the bigger parks get.
I was there in 1966, an Old Man told us about seeing it erupt from San Francisco; & after his stint in the Great War he hiked to the top with a group to sacrifice a virgin. He said there were a lot of geysers and fumerals active in the crater. He also told us about enjoying the San Francisco Earthquake and the clean up & rebuilding. (They found out he wasn't a virgin) When I was there in 1966 there were still a lot of broken trees from the 1915 eruption.

My wife and I drove that last weekend. It was beautiful and horrible at the same time. Miles and miles of burnt trees. We also only drove the highway.
