    John your work fascinate me I am speechless every time I watch you work and listen to the calm way you explain everything. Your work is amazing, I am a lady of 72 and not a woodturner. I discovered these videos on TH-cam and I am hooked, and enjoy everything all of you do. Thank you for your amazing work. I love every minute of it.

    By far, the best woodworking video I have seen in a long time. Thanks for the video. Very nice work...

    The finished projects are amazing. I learn something new every time.
    I can't justify buying the slicer. I don't have a bandsaw that big. I'm definitely going to build the Celtic sled and perhaps modify it somewhat. I think I'll turn the bell over and make some lidded boxes. Thanks for the great ideas.

    Did you make the sled for the bandsaw with micro adjustments or is this something you found? I enjoyed this video very much and look forward to others in the future. This is by far one of the most informative videos on segmenting I have seen. Thank you.

    This seems to me a promotional video for a commercial product

    I have made segmented bowls in the past--but these are certainly more intense workings to make a bell---are you selling these? If so they must be very expensive for each one has many hours for 1 bell-----I'd be interested in knowing how much you do charge if they are for sale---I live in NH and have lots of free time from Nov. to April---thanks for a great video.

      No they are not for sale. I made these as Christmas presents for my relatives this past year. I put too many hours into them for anyone to pay what I would need to charge to make it worth my while - therefore I do not sell anything.

      You are very genorous with indept videos of your skills, time and ideas-----hopefully all who recieves these as gifts are aware of the time and effort you have put into them. They are the lucky ones---thanks

    how long does it take to make one of those amazing bells?

    • @Accu-Slice
      @Accu-Slice  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      It's hard to actual;y state a number because I usually am working on 3 or 4 at the same time in order to make it more time efficient. My guess is that the total time to cut all the wood, make the segmented discs, glue it up and then turn it in the lathe and finish is probably 6 to 8 hours per bell.
