I must say I have been watching your videos for over a year and you have some incredible talent in woodworking and video editing. Thanks for inspiring and sharing your work. If I ever achieve a fraction of your woodworking talent I will feel accomplished.
Brilliant video in all aspects. Your presentation is clear and crisp; you don't spend a bunch of time on endless exposition, and there's no annoying music blaring through the whole thing. It's just a fantastic piece of work. The animation really seals it for me. Brilliant. The bowl is stunning. Well done. That shop is glorious. I love those big old tools! That disc sander!!! You've clearly put a lot of love into that place. It shows in both the shop and the work.
Frank, I love this bowl. Great choice of wood combination ans the pattern is beautiful. This was a great demonstration of how this piece was done and I'll be using this for reference. Thanks for sharing, Fred
I love the time and effort you put into making these videos. Not only is the woodwork art but your video editing is entertaining. Thank you! I loved it.
Every time I watch one of your videos I get inspired to create something. Thanks for sharing that feeling with so many people. Looking forward to your next project.
Another outstanding project! The editing is great, the woodworking is absolutely first class and the segmented design is always interesting without being pushy. Thanks for taking the time to share your work with us. I'm already looking forward to your next project. Butcher block oil is mineral oil which isn't a drying oil and will eventually seep out of the wood. Ironically, it is also a medium for bacterial growth.
I love your videos. I don’t know enough about the profession to initially make sense of your descriptions, but once I see what you’re actually doing, it all makes sense. Your voice puts me to sleep and I mean that in the nicest way.
Wonderful. Love it all. Liked the top down shot on the lathe. Appreciated you explaining the setup of the individual pieces and the the angles used and the jigs.
Excellent work! What a great idea for a wedding gift. I appreciate the symbolism of the two different types of wood coming together. Favorite shot = camera in the bottom of the bow.
I actually get anxious when I go too long without one of your videos, but you, yet again, delivered magnificently! I am a true fan, thank you so much for these great videos, I look forward to my first attempt at segmented turning some day! you inspire me!
You sir are Amazing! Everything about this video is Top Flight, this has been such a pleasure to watch a Master execute such precision at his craft, your work is by far Superior to anything that I have ever seen before. Thank you for this experience 👍👌💯👏
Hi Frank. That was a great presentation. I love how you captured the parts getting together on the saw, like claymation almost. Very cool. And your narrative is dry and humorous... great stuff. Inspiring! Thanks so much. I learned a lot watching, and your shop is very cool.
its finals season for me and I have been going through and watching your videos, they are so calming and peaceful to watch, I plan on having an artistic career path but this makes me want to go into carpentry. my grandfather was a carpenter and so being in a wood shop always brought me peace, thank you for your amazing videos
Good job as per usual. Enjoyed and learned a little. Have never thought of putting the rubber grommets inside the bowl when its tapered that way, will try that at my first opportunity. Again, thanks for sharing your skill and expertise.
What a great video I stumbled upon. The video was creative and fun to watch. You have some awesome tools, not to mention the great piece of work you did.
That bowl turned out really really beautiful. The way you edited this video made the bowl even more interesting, the stop motion made it awesome!!! Great work!

Dear Frank Howarth, I don't know what it's better: your craft, your talent, your shop or your editing. Congratulations!! Your awesome. Thank you for the video! :-)
Frank, the easy answer to larger hose clamps is in itself easy. Just get two of the largest size you can find and unscrew them. Then thread them together to make one large hose clamp. Hope this helps. Thanks for all the great wood working.
That turned out great. I really enjoy your videos, craftsmanship, editing and the whole spirit of these videos. I'm not even a woodworker but I would love to create a bowl like that in the future.
Beautiful video, Frank. The bowl looks very nice. The people are sure to appreciate very much about it. In large bowl, it is advantageous if the lathe stands freely (For grinding). Greetings from Germany.
what a pleasorous experience to watch this video. beautiful work on the bowl, and AMAZING editing and stop motion scenes. favorited subscribed and liked. keep up the amazing work!
Great job. My father has always loved lathes. Myself, I've always been intimidated. When you flipped the bowl to profile the outside and mentioned you hoped you remembered the interior profile, you pretty much captured my neurosis. Thanks for posting.
Great job! After listening to the podcast Brainpick that you were on I have even more respect for you and your skills as a woodworker and you video production.
