Hey Beardy...FYI, when you make a contraption, you can also just pick it all up with your wrench and carry it. Then you can just place a new rail and put the contraption on it. I've been using that to mine huge paths in Dawncraft
@@ShiroCh_ID in the create config menu its in gameplay settings > kinetics > contraptions and scroll down and you should see an option for movable spawners which can go between unmovable, no pickup and movable (which lets you pick it up with a wrench)
Maybe this'll help: You can also drain those Nuggets of Experience with the Disenchanter and store the Liquid Experience in the vats. That way you're only really limited by your tank size and have all your experience concentrated in one spot that can be then drained with a pump, if you want to.
maybe keep some nuggets - they can be made into blocks which are a really nice light source, especially when navigating places like the nether or caves

This is very cool! I am curious about rhe create enchanting addition and how that will turn out! I discovered that a "windmill" can also be something with wool blocks in it and decorated to look like some steampunky enginey bits if you want to diversify your power generation!
Try making a wrench and goggles to enhance your use of Create. For example you can just pick up anything on the cart assembler to transport anywhere. Hope that didn’t spoil your fun learning by experience. I am enjoying this series but it does seem like you’re making progress rather quickly. Not that is a bad thing. ❤
I made a wrench in episode 1 :) However, you cannot pick up spawners attached to a contraption, it leaves them behind, I tried :( And believe me, we are not making quick progress, we have entire towns to build for manufacturing certain things yet! :D This is just the starter area for the basics before we expand, massively!
@@MrBeardstone there is a setting in the create configs that allow you pick up spawners in a contraption if you dont like that they can be transported if you set the config via minecart and rails to a set destination

That mosquito and the lava snake are the reason I Don't use Alex's mobs anymore 😭😭😂😂there's also a huge cave centipede that's not a vibe. Love Xaero's i swear by it!! I use it in regular vanilla too because I get lost (just no minimap). And the mob farm turned out SOOO epic!!! Absolutely loving this series so far Mr. B
I think it would be cool to build an "all kinds of Stone" Factory. It could produce Stone, cobblestone, Andesite, Diorite, Granite and mabye even Bricks. this could be very helpfull for your building projects
I think instead of burning those arrows, you can come up with a way of using them against the mobs (persharps to soften them up or the like, as there's wont be nearly enough for a full kill), and in so doing save up on the iron swords

I managed to make a farm nearly identical to this one in terms of functionality, but it doesn't produce experience cubes. Does getting the cubes from mobs come from a particular side mod that I just don't have installed? They drop regular exp, so Mending can be applied to the weapons, but the cubes themselves aren't around.

A factory building? A nightclub? A crashed UFO? I'm tempted to keep more and more ridiculous suggestions going.... 😉😂 Hmm... You should probably put in some of the multi-drawer storage with a void upgrade for more rare drops once you get a zombie spawner in your mob farm. Also maybe get ready to set up a way to separate armor and tools once you have the zombie spawner. Being able to strip enchants off of the rare bit of enchanted armor/weapon/tools and smelt down the unenchanted stuff for ore nuggets (if this mod pack allows it) could be useful in the beginning, especially when the enchanting table is being uncooperative. 😑💦 Huh, I just had the thought that, technically, zombie spawners might be considered a golden carrot farm (a very slow one, lol) since the zombies sometimes drop carrots and gold armor that can be smelted. 🤔 Though a Piglin farm works better for getting gold. 😅 Still, if you moved several zombie spawners into a separate mob killer, that could technically be an effective farm. Especially if you somehow set up a way to autocraft golden carrots, lol. 😊👍 BTW, I think the horse should be named "Two-ie" because he's the second and it's cute, lol. Though "Redux" sounds cooler. 😅
Not too sure if I'm missing something or if it was patched in the new updates but I'm assuming when a deployer kills a mob it can no longer cause the mob to drop XP? Doesn't seem to be picking up any XP either. Not sure where I went wrong
sorry for the necro post but i tried doing the same and it appears mobs arent dropping xp nuggets. not sure if its an addon of create but the modpack im using is pretty bare bones create
You can just put a Blaze burner under your regular mixer/basin and you can still use them for non heated recipes... horse should be named clawd

Yes mixers with blaze burners aren't only for heated recipes, but the other one had a hopper in the way

There are specific blocks that, when attached, prevent the contraption from being picked up. Spawners are one of those blocks.

Yeah it worked for me that way! Sometimes just a few mods here and there that you like can make it fun without being overwhelming.

Perhaps if it’s useful, I could suggest the if you shift right click on the minecart contraption with a wrench, you can pick it up as a item.
You CAN, however it doesn't pick up the spawner liek that, sadly! Just... leaves it behind lol
