I’m looking for a new synth for my iPhone. I have all of the free and freemium stuff (and all the stuff from AudioKit) I’m looking for something that’s great for creating sounds mostly (presets are a bonus not main focus for me), without that steep of a learning curve. Budget is tight otherwise I’d get the minimoog d as I used the physical version a fair amount back when I was in college 25 years ago. What would you personally recommend in that case? I loved synth one but it’s not Auv
We have a whole playlist dedicated to our favorite apps that you can find here: th-cam.com/play/PL8i9IqGTrKqbkoveud4zAKioUIHT5p2Qa.html As far as sound design I"d recommend basically everything in our best synths of 2022 video as they're all great for exactly what you describe: th-cam.com/video/KIgd2M-rWOg/w-d-xo.html
@@MobileMusicPro yup…been watching those ! Trying to narrow it down to one for now (when funds get better I probably will eventually get everything lol)
Excellent review, I knew some of those mentioned in the video, and others I met now, very good! I see that SERUM is widely used on desktop, for you what is the wavetable synthesizer most similar to SERUM, available on iPadOS?
I don't have Tera pro - looks ace though, but otherwise I think I'd pick the same apps. As your keyboard playing continues to improve dude, you really should get a camera on your hands. People love to see someone play.
Well drill music is essentially just dark trap or dark hip hop so any synth that can produce drones, strings and plucks will work which is pretty much every synth.
Is there any differences between ios and ipad os in software for music production? Like do ipad have more programs, plugins etc? I m thinking to buy one of them and i m thinking which one is better and do they have differences. I ll be thankful for the answer)
This is how I come up with musical ideas is by creating loops inside Cubasis, starting songs by creating loops is a relatively common process in any DAW :) There are of course apps specifically designed for looping like loopy pro and others but I prefer to stay in Cubasis as much as possible.

That track sounds great! Thanks for throwing Overdrive Synth in there and all the support this year! 🤜💥🤛
Thanks bro! Glad you enjoyed and thanks for making such a dope app!
Nice list dude! On to the FX!
Been waiting on this one!
Nice!!
I have the Overdrive Synth, are there more patches for it? These synths are affordable looking forward to your take on 2023.
The overdrive synth is fantastic, I believe with newer versions they've released a few more patches.

@@MobileMusicPro narrowed it down to either Trooper or Poison 202!
@@Fear2Stop Both are really, really good synths.
@@MobileMusicPro I got Trooper…and I freaking LOVE it! Didn’t realize it was as user friendly as it it

Probably a toss up between butter synth and tera pro.

Yah Tera is a modular beast! Yah man next year going to get all new camera setup, super looking forward to it :)
That demo track needs a badass supersaw arpeggio for the brake down
Hah that would be awesome!
vhs synth and copperhead nice too
Agree! Beautiful 80s sounding synths :)
I'm dawless but synth apps are handy to record straight into the multi track a nice 303 bassline and build on too of it
Nice!
Do you know if it’s possible to record Fluss as an instrument within Cubasis? Or can it only be done as an effect on other instruments?
Oh you can for sure use Fluss as either an effect or instrument inside of Cubasis since it supports the AUv3 standard.
What’s the best synth/instrument for drill music

iPad OS simply has a couple of additional features such as Stage Manager but they're basically the same thing.
Yes ! Megalit is here on top list and this is my fav synth of this year.
Nice! Megalit is truly incredible, lots of amazing features in there and so easy to use.
@@MobileMusicPro Yes, Power packed with features and modulation is super easy.
Using Cubasis like a Looper App? Nice idea. Bu a linear timeline would probably be better to handle and follow, or?

Tera is a monster
So true Peter! Easiest modular synth I've ever used too.
Tera the king
Can't argue with that :)
