Totally agree Ive never been in but it doesnt seem anything like an holiday camp. Some prisons in Norway and possibly Germany seem like they would be an easy time since they seem to be strict about maintaining human dignity no matter what. So they take peoples liberty but nothing more, single cell each that look just like bedrooms with flat screen TVs and everything. But UK prisons take peoples liberty but also seek to target their dignity when you consider they are sharing a toilet that often isnt screened off. Windows that wont always open. Most prisoners doubled up in a cell meant for one. Poor food in many cases. And some have also comlained about the healthcare in there. So those places sound like the last place Id wanna be. I could do time in a norweigan pen or dutch or German pen not all prisons arentue same. But British prisons seem inhumane by European standards
Yes you've convinced me. I don't want to go to prison. I did three days remand in Norwich once. However, I liked Butlins. I worked there. It was a big breeding farm and I was one of the bulls. ☺️

Hate it when people who have never been to prison, usually the ones saying it would cry if sent to prison. Oh! Holiday camp prison. Holiday camps are terrible. Wouldn't go to Butlins. Myself. Now amplify that by a 1000 and prison is like that. Well said paddey✌🏻

It was different when I was in horfield Bristol 1981 3up sloppy out the place stank everyone had the same smelly clothes from all the smoking old Holborn. Winkle picker shoes I could go on mate go to your cell now put the kettle on. Have a shower put your feet up nice and clean with even a nice coffee and hobnob. There was a big difference 👌🏴
