    Great looking bike. Nice lines and design. I can see the attraction to some as a starter bike, though it still looks fairly large for a beginner rider. If haunted places bother you, keep clear of the East coast, especially from Boston down to DC.

    • @CoffeeBrakes
      @CoffeeBrakes  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The seat height is really low but definitely a good upgrade for a bigger sport bike. I hear the east coast is full of ghost stories! I’m huge into that and love reading and watching paranormal stuff!

    I’ve been looking at getting a 2011 gsxr600 as my first bike. Bike has been dropped and involved in a small accident but owner has a receipt for everything that was worked on and replaced. I’m just worried about the power. But the bike only has 11k miles and he wants $5500 for it so I can easily pay cash and have money left over for gear. I just don’t think a 300 or 400 would cut it for my area due to speed limits and allot of highways. I want something that can get me going on the highway

    • @CoffeeBrakes
      @CoffeeBrakes  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      That might be pretty expensive because at that many miles, you'll have to do valve adjustments soon. I would check for proper oil changes and tires. How does the bike run? You can definitely keep up on a 400 and then sell it down the road once you are more comfortable riding.

      @@mikeanderson2152 thanks for watching man! The cbr600 and gsxr600 are both great bikes to get started on the 600cc classes. Low seat height and a more “comfortable” street bike vs the zx6r and the r6. I recommend taking it easy at first before going crazy on these 600cc sport bikes. How do you find this with no Abs versus Abs on your R3?

    • @CoffeeBrakes
      @CoffeeBrakes  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      my r3 doesn't come with ABS but for the most part, the lower cc bikes don't really need ABS but its definitly helpful. Having no ABS helps with my braking technique and easing the handle

    Is this more upright or 3/4 tuck or...? Compared with R3, for example

    • @CoffeeBrakes
      @CoffeeBrakes  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Compared to an r3, the gxsr 600 is alot more aggressive. Your leaning at about a 45 degree angle and the rearsets are higher up. The r3 is more upright and comfortable. But compared to all the other 600 brands, I'd say the gsxr is the most comfortable.

      Coffee Brakes what 600 bike would you recommend for someone who wants the LEAST aggressive ride experience?

    • @CoffeeBrakes
      @CoffeeBrakes  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      As far as 600cc super sports class (Kawasaki, Suzuki, Honda, Yamaha) it comes down to Gsxr 600 and the Cbr 600 as the most comfortable out of the four. I recommend you go into a dealership and sit on each 600. That's the best way to experience the riding position. What bike do you currently ride?

    Would you recommend this as a first bike? My friend has a 600 and he says this bike is great for a beginner if you’re aware of the power and understand how it works

    • @CoffeeBrakes
      @CoffeeBrakes  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Personally, I don’t recommend this as a first bike. Yes, your friend is correct, understanding the power is really important when riding any bike, even a 300. But for a 300, you can really get comfortable and enhance your skills before moving up to a 600. It will make you aware and become a better rider. If you do decide to go straight to a 600, just practice easing the throttle and respect the power. Anyways, I hope this helps! Be safe

      @@CoffeeBrakes I appreciate the reply bro especially on a video that’s a couple months old! Personally never riding a bike I’m genuinely torn, weirdly my insurance is the same for a ninja 400, R3 and a CBR 600rr, I wouldn’t go near motorways when I first start riding just to get the fundamentals engrained in me and get my gearing, Rev matching and throttle all sorted..

    I know this video is old but.... I started on 200 went to 600 had a busa and went back to a 600, in over 10 years riding... i can tell you that the gsx 600 and 750 are not beginner bikes.. if you wish they can be forever bikes... they have enough power for all your needs... you can literally break every speed limit in 1st gear... moral of the story, ride what you like and dont let anyone tell you any super sport at 600 and above cc is a beginner bike! you can keep it forever and still be fast, still have fun, still hit the track and still get yourself in a lot of trouble!

      Hey bro! I prefer the 750 because I like that extra bit of power that I can play with but I’m definitely not downplaying the 600. For someone who is going from dirt to street bikes, start with a lower cc and slowly move up. A ninja 400 or an R3 would work well especially getting into sportsbikes.
