You guys really botched that entire segment. He’s eligible for parole after 3 years. 30 years is the max. The gun convictions are concurrent but consecutive to the murder. So his entire sentence is 3-30.

There is always more to Facts then is released to the Public., Considering the Life Style of 50% of people who Live out in that area., I strongly believe that More then One person was envolded in this Murder..J.Brenner was not able or Physically capable of Digging a Hole that Deep by Hand. In any shape or way..he had to have had help.., and several others out there had The same Kind of Charges if not worse on them at the same Time.. and Several others where arrested about the same time. On almost the same charges.!
They had to make a deal with the devil in order to bury their son 😢

I am soooo mad about this case/guy. That kid was doing good for himself, starting his own farm and everything at such a young age,,, and then this piece of 💩 came along. Evil people are everywhere in this world,,, this just proves it even more. He'll get what's coming to him in prison,, I guarantee it. RIP Dylan

For those complaining about the sentence, Utah has a shitty cap on how much time someone can do. He'll probably do the full 30 and he doesn't look like a healthy man so I doubt he'll ever see the light of day.
Yep. Same thing with the upcoming sentencing for Jodi Hildebrandt and Ruby Frankie. They should BOTH receive 30 years. Utah is f'd up.
How'd he get 2nd degree, by shooting the kid he knew owned & took care of the property, and he hid the body? WTAF? Insanity
There needs to be way more than complaining! No that is not 30 years before parole. They are liars! 1 to 15 on each charge. He could do 3 years. I know someone doing three years right now for doing the exact same thing here in my State. @@mariatorres9789 It was a plea deal in order to get him to tell the authorities where Dylan's body was. The family agreed to the deal.
His mother had the case solved like 1 week of her son being missing
So absolutely awful . This young man sounded like such a great person and was working so hard to make something of himself . Just horrific what happened . Thoughts to his family .

The charges were reduced in exchange for showing police where his body was. The family was consulted on the plea deal.
@@North_West1 his charges being reduced is meaningless he got 45 years in prison and he absolutely has to do at least 30 years before he’s eligible for parole. For a guy his age he’s going to die in prison.

@@kb3831 they said it in the video 1-15 is the range he could get, what he was actually sentenced to was 15 years for each charge to run consecutively so that’s 45 years in jail. And your eligible for parole after you serve 2/3 of your sentence. So he has to serve 10 years 3 consecutive times in a row before he’s eligible to get parole and that doesn’t mean he automatically gets it. The parole board can keep him in there for the full 45 years.

CANDACE!!! All of this is because of you. THANK YOU! You solved Dylan’s case. You found your son. We all know Box Elder or whatever that depo. Is called. Really wasn’t too concerned about investigating, evidence collection, chain of custody, turning in the evidence to be tested. Or even arresting a felon with warrants. You should sue them. They should of arrested him before any of this happened.

@profd65 he got that sentence as part of a plea deal. He would tell the family where Dylan was buried. It’s like doing a deal with the devil. Jim Brenner won’t get out. He’s old sick and a bitter man.
@@unapologeticallyauthentic Ruby and Jodi HAVE NOT been sentenced yet. A parole board will be sentencing them. They COULD receive 30 years each. For Jodi, that would basically be a death sentence since she's about 53 years old. Ruby is about 42. We can only hope that's the outcome.

Rest in peace young man....That poor family loosing there son like this......everyone should know that this family went through pure hell.they are the ones who done so much investigating trying to find there son. I think most Defendants speaking at their sentencing is a bad idea. It's usually pretty cringe. Also, why did the judge ask him to turn to the audience and speak?

Candace is been a trooper through all of this...Law enforcement let the family down. If not for Candace and his dad they would have never done anything. They knew immediately who did it. Such a good young man and he killed the only one who ever tried to help him. God bless this family and at least they have closure. I lost my daughter last year , I can't imagine how that momma felt not knowing where her baby was. Rest in peace Dylan 🌻🌻🌻

And Brenner did call the Family a week after his arrest, to tell them where Dylan's Body was.., They all Hung Up on him..,So there's that.!

But Dylan was planning on farming both places., A Percent Contract Lease Agreement was already on the table. For Both Places. And would have been doing so NOW.. if he was not Murdered.

When did they say he has to serve 30 years before hes eligible for parole? They didn't. The judge is recommending he stay in as long as possible.
