Hard to believe it took three years for Jim to get back on the show after his 13 week run and live show win in 1990. A truly great bowler who is missed by all.
Man! Stingy lanes, but some really nice spares made in a close match. Makes one wonder about whether pin setting calibration makes a difference. Really nice to see Jim Putnam smiling with congratulations to Tom at the end of the match. Loved it when he brought his kids on and then said: " I don't have really much to say" (!) to the somewhat chagrined and beloved Don Gillis.
Amazing match thanks for the video Wolfman. I love watching these classic Candlepin matches.

Wow sorry to hear Jim Putney has passed. Thanks to Wolfman and the Olsztas for continuing to provide these quality matches!
Yeah it's been almost 7 years since he passed, which happened at the end of 2017. :(

I’ll bet Tom could build a house out of the raw materials from all of his first place trophies. 🏆
These are the two men with the highest averages overall on channel 5 singles.
Cheers Wolfman!
He put up a good fight for the first 2 but just could not hold up.
Tom Olszta improves his TH-cam video record to 189652482-0 with this win.
