I don't think it's about sexism lol. In my opinion I would value the life of women more than men simply because statistically there are less women than men and it also only takes one man to impregnate a bunch of women. If I think about it a little more personally though people feel closer to their mother than their father, such as in a divorce situation they would rather go with their mother than their father so I believe women are, relationship wise (aka the people who know and love them in their life) value them more themselves than let's say their husband or something.

However, the car AI systems must be able to distinguish between humans and animals to make this judgement ridiculously fast... I suppose that if the car AI can identify the animals legally crossing, but cannot identify whatever is in the illegal crosswalk, it may still choose to run over the known animals than risk the possibility of whatever it detects in the other crosswalk being hoomans. If the car AI systems cannot positively identify the lifeforms in BOTH crosswalks, only then it may fall back to running through the crosswalk full of whatever is crossing illegally according to the signals.

But when I took this with my driving class we all avoided the animals and high the people because we thought "making these wasn't their fault." @@evan10307 Yes but- You also have to think about it in a sense of- for example, homeless vs. executive. The executive provides jobs and wages in which many live off of, and they benefit many people. The homeless person, although it's sad, might end up dying on the streets anyway, or never being able to get a job and move back in to society. Would you rather people loose a bunch of jobs and possibly become homeless themselves due to the executive dying(for the case of the scenario, we're just going to say there's no one in line and the company will shut down if the exe dies), or, would you rather someone who would most likely die on the streets anyway, albeit a different car, starvation, natural causes, disease, etc. etc.? I'm not trying to say that homeless peoples' lives don't matter just because they're homeless, but take this as you will.

He has stated that he loses a lot of money on medical treatment. 3rd of all, his fanbase, which is more of a simpbase. He mentioned that he's very thankful for his fans, the ones who don't sexualize him, because he said that all that "deep daddy" thing makes him uncomfortable. This is actually super complex when you have take into consideration the ages, genders, job status, health status, responsibility of being in a car/on foot, obeying the lights or not and whether you stick with your path or actively swerve to hit people…really a lot to think about!
Lol when I took it if it was a choice between killing 2 different groups of people (one side of the street or the other), my preference was to just keep the car going straight regardless, as designing the car to identify certain attributes about a person and using it to decide whether to swerve TOWARDS them seems wrong. I also tried to account for levels of risk, if the traffic lights told the pedestrians that they would be safe in crossing the street, try to keep them safe, if they were crossing against the signal, they took a risk in doing that and therefore it may be justified to try to protect the occupants of the vehicle, just like the occupants of the car took a risk in getting into the car in the first place. The question at that point is which is the higher risk. Also, even thought the test says all the occupants will die if the car hits the wall if there is one, they have a much higher likelihood of survival in a real world scenario than a pedestrian, so that may be valuable to consider.

Those data driven companies always know where everyone is, & if they don't, the cell provider does if that person is carrying a device. Maybe in these models, a person without a smart device is considered homeless (hence why the test doesn't distinguish between male & female homeless people- maybe it's missing the data/doesn't recognize the person). The athlete probably either has pics on their social media profiles OR spectacular fitness stats on their fitbit/apple watch!

In my opinion I would value the life of women more than men simply because statistically there are less women than men and it also only takes one man to impregnate a bunch of women. If I think about it a little more personally though people feel closer to their mother than their father, such as in a divorce situation they would rather go with their mother than their father so I believe women are, relationship wise (aka the people who know and love them in their life) value them more themselves than let's say their husband or something.

Granted, I think most people agree human life is valued more than animal life. However, the car AI systems must be able to distinguish between humans and animals to make this judgement ridiculously fast...
I suppose that if the car AI can identify the animals legally crossing, but cannot identify whatever is in the illegal crosswalk, it may still choose to run over the known animals than risk the possibility of whatever it detects in the other crosswalk being hoomans.
If the car AI systems cannot positively identify the lifeforms in BOTH crosswalks, only then it may fall back to running through the crosswalk full of whatever is crossing illegally according to the signals.

But when I took this with my driving class we all avoided the animals and high the people because we thought "making these wasn't their fault." The homeless person, although it's sad, might end up dying on the streets anyway, or never being able to get a job and move back in to society. Would you rather people loose a bunch of jobs and possibly become homeless themselves due to the executive dying(for the case of the scenario, we're just going to say there's no one in line and the company will shut down if the exe dies), or, would you rather someone who would most likely die on the streets anyway, albeit a different car, starvation, natural causes, disease, etc. etc.? I'm not trying to say that homeless peoples' lives don't matter just because they're homeless, but take this as you will.

Lol when I took it if it was a choice between killing 2 different groups of people (one side of the street or the other), my preference was to just keep the car going straight regardless, as designing the car to identify certain attributes about a person and using it to decide whether to swerve TOWARDS them seems wrong. I also tried to account for levels of risk, if the traffic lights told the pedestrians that they would be safe in crossing the street, try to keep them safe, if they were crossing against the signal, they took a risk in doing that and therefore it may be justified to try to protect the occupants of the vehicle, just like the occupants of the car took a risk in getting into the car in the first place. The question at that point is which is the higher risk. Also, even thought the test says all the occupants will die if the car hits the wall if there is one, they have a much higher likelihood of survival in a real world scenario than a pedestrian, so that may be valuable to consider.
So I guess you could say toghether they were considering, death and taxes! I'll leave.

Many tech companies have been busy for years now hiding 5g cell towers all over the world), & almost everyone & their mom has willingly migrated all their personal info online in the form of pics, vids, text, location data, etc, via social media & big data, namely facebook & Google. Those data driven companies always know where everyone is, & if they don't, the cell provider does if that person is carrying a device. Maybe in these models, a person without a smart device is considered homeless (hence why the test doesn't distinguish between male & female homeless people- maybe it's missing the data/doesn't recognize the person).
