  • What is OBS?
    OBS Studio is a powerful, free, open-source software for video recording and live streaming. It's perfect for gamers, content creators, and anyone who wants to broadcast live or record their screen.
    Getting Started
    Installation
    Download: Head to the OBS Studio website and download the version that matches your operating system.
    Install: Follow the installation prompts to get OBS Studio up and running on your computer.
    Basic Setup
    Launch OBS: Once installed, open OBS Studio.
    Add Sources:
    Scene: By default, OBS creates a blank scene. Right-click in the "Scenes" box and select "Add".
    Sources: Inside the scene, right-click in the "Sources" box and select the type of source you want to capture (e.g., Display Capture for capturing your screen, Video Capture Device for webcams, etc.).
    Settings
    Audio: Go to the "Settings" menu and select "Audio". Configure your input (microphone) and output (speakers) devices.
    Video: In the "Video" settings, you can set your resolution and frame rate.
    Recording & Streaming
    Recording: Press the "Start Recording" button to record your screen. Once finished, press "Stop Recording".
    Streaming: Go to "Settings" "Stream" and connect your streaming platform (e.g., Twitch, TH-cam). Then press "Start Streaming" to go live!
