Students will not be considered for priority admission until they have completed both PathwayConnect and an English proficiency test. Students should apply after completion of those programs.
But for Spring 2025 applicants: The admissions said it’s okay if you have not finished pathway yet before you apply. Just take the ELAT and turn in your university certificate as soon as possible.

Is there a full scholarship for masteral program?
Hello, Michelle! BYUH currently doesn’t have a master's program, but there are other schools that offer full scholarships for master's programs. It's very competitive, but it's possible. I know someone who did it. He graduated summa cum laude here in Hawaii and had a lot of research work and solid work experience before he got that full scholarship.

Question thoo, about po sa doon sa sinabi mo po na declare ang income ng family, its just me and my papa living together sa bahay and my siblings are in different places, di ko na sila need pa ideclare ang income nila? nakalagay kase doon na yung mga kasama ko lang sa bahay. Naguguluhan din po ako sa family contribution, necessary din po ba talaga ilagay?
Also, they only instructed me to create BYU Hawaii account and not the BYU, should I make an account there also?.
I am really not sure din po sa aking essays, if it is okay enough to turn in, this might be too much to ask and far fetched but are you open po to read mine and just check if it has potential and if there's something missing or need to revised? I am very sorry to ask po, but im really nervous about my essay.
Hello Rossy! Good questions! Here are my answers:
1. Yes tama ka, di na need i-declare ang income ng siblings mo if they are not living in your home na.
2. Yes kailangan maglagay ng family contribution/annual support. $600 ang minimum according here: financialaid.byuh.edu/onboarding-fees#:~:text=%24600%2D%247%2C500%20per%20student%20estimated%20annual%20family%20contribution.
Don’t worry, pag andito ka na, mas magiging magaan yung babayaran kasi may job ka. Installment din yung pagbayad at deadline ay every end of the semester.
3. If they did not instruct you to create a BYU account, baka meron nang naka-link na BYU account. Need kasing i-link yung 9-digit BYU ID #. Pero don’t worry if may check na yung Account Linking.

Hello po! Thanks for asking! BYUH only accommodates those na wala pa pong bachelor’s degree eh. Pero I know BYU-Idaho/Ensign College online accepts students kahit may bachelor’s degree na sa ph ☺️

Kapag you’re applying as an on-campus undergraduate student sa BYU, BYUH or BYUI, yung mga wala pa pong degree ang tinatanggap nila. Pero for online schools like BYUI/Ensign College online, tumatanggap sila kahit may bachelor’s degree na ☺️

1. After mong mag-aral sa PathwayConnect, you need to send your transcript sa BYU-Hawaii. Nasa video yung tutorial kung paano.
2. Maraming mga students dito na hindi naman nakapag serve ng full-time mission so hindi naman makakaapekto yun sa application mo.
3. Kung wala kang bank account, hindi mo naman need mag-open. Tama ka, kahit yung bank statements nalang ng mga sponsors mo. Kung may bank statements din ang parents mo, need din ipasa.

@@leyoc-r7e It depends. If you’re taking pathway ngayon at ma-admit ka agad for Spring 2025, makakaalis ka na April next year.

2. Opo need niyo rin i-submit ang bank statements niyong mag-asawa.

What will be the process for married couples? Will it be easy for my spouse to use her degree and work while I'm studying/working in BYUH?
Hello Joshua! Yes she can work dito at mas makakaipon kayo. Kaso need niyo mag deposit ng $10,000 sa school bago siya bigyan ng documents for visa.
Di kami need mag deposit kasi both kaming students. For non-student spouse yung 10K USD deposit.

Thank you! Yes, you can still be admitted pero if you want to qualify for IWORK din, mention about how you magnify your callings sa essay part or any other proof na prepared kang pagsabayin ang studies and work :)

@@blogniswayneejennifermayrosejl Good question! Hindi naman required na Seminary and Institute graduate. Pero automatic makikita nila ang records mo once you use your church account sa application. It’s okay kung hindi ka pa graduate :)

Hello! No need na po. Just let your bishop fill up the bishop’s letter form. You can find the form in the description of this video, just in case you can’t find it sa BYUH website.☺️

Hi! It's not for each family member. The total contribution for your whole family is at least $600. Some students here don't ask their families to pay it because they can provide it themselves through their jobs.

@@micheaelalhijazeen2912 Hello! The minimum wage here in Hawaii is $14 per hour so if you manage your money wisely, you can pay for your student and family contributions. However, the IWORK advisors are the one who decide how much family contribution for each student and it depends on the income of the students’ parent/s.
My advice for your application is that you show them how you magnify your calings and you strive to work as well. That shows you are spiritually and temporally self-reliant. :)
