Rather than make me think of death row in a prison this song makes me think of an old folks home. Especially at the end where the music sounds like a clock marking time.
This is very early Chris Stapleton. Pre-Steeldrivers. I believe this is actually in 2005 (the TH-cam clips have all kinds of dates). I believe this is one of the songwriter events Vince Gill got him an invite to (which he has stated he probably didn't deserve at the time).
You should watch Chris live, thats him playing the guitar. Chris sings, plays AND writes the songs. He was also with the Steel Driver (bluegrass) and Jompson Brothers (rock, blues, southern rock). One of my favorite artists who cant be pigeon holed into any genre because he slays them all.

You must've glossed over that request because I find it very difficult to believe no one's mentioned it in all the other comments from every other Chris Stapleton song you've reacted to. I've watched and enjoyed all of those reactions but I'd very much like to see you react to that one in particular, along with "Fool Me Again". Plus, if you want some Outlaw Country from Chris you should take a look at "Nobody to Blame" and Outlaw State of Mind", both from the Farm-Aid performance. There's a few more after that.
