oh man, good to see you my old friend!!! how have you been? ah ya... still grinding away, for whatever reason lol -- hopefully I can ride off into the sunset at 1m subs or something. She's doing well, my little pup is getting older these days, her face has gone all white vs the original orange -- thanks again for the gift years ago.
yes this is shown w/ these 2 miners, but it should work for any s19 that luxos supports, it should be possible w/ braiins too but I haven't actually replicated it, with braiins
Do you have to use Luxor? Could you use Braiins and just plug in the same numbers? I’ve got a spare s19 and might plug it in where I work and use their⚡️. 😬
This is kind of wild, I was just researching this, after watching some of your videos earlier, as I was looking for ways to offset my excess solar that I am soon going to have. This might be the perfect solution for me to throw one or two of these to use my excess solar power, since I am net metered and cannot sell the excess.
I just built a standalone solar system accompanied with battery pack that's sufficient to run all day and night. literally built the system for less than 5k - solar company was trying to charge me 60k for something similar, i said f that and built one myself. I've been preaching this to the wrong crowd for the past few months prior to the halving - so if you're reading this and you know a thing or two about electricity, solar, and electronics. build it and reap the profits! especially now with people selling off their GPUs. it's the perfect time to get in bb.
I really looked into this... but with my residential electrical rate it would take me 4-5 years to break even unless bitcoin went to a million... or I mined an actual block.
Is the 3D printed case flameproof? If you put a match to it, will it continue to burn? I assume this does not have UL Listing for safety. It could cost you your whole garage if it burns up.
@@VoskCoin I’m a big fan but seriously watching a whole video was dumb. The title should’ve been: “EARN $2/DAY FROM A PLUG AT HOME MINER FOR $2,200!” Just sayin I really expected it to be at least $10 day . Can you at least mine bitcoin cash, or other things with this? That might be more profitable? I was wanting to get one.
Very late to this video but only got time to watch it now. I saw this and I was like I want one because I want to start getting into ASICs, but I don’t got like the power to do that. I don’t have any 240V in my house so 120V is all I have available right now unless I upgrade. But definitely I just want to use the 120V for now.
Hey Vosk, kinda stupid idea but could be interesting. Could you try and run a sterling engine off of the heat that goes to your dry coolers. Maybe run a generator. ♾️ Bitcoin mining. 😂 Could be interesting but idk if it's worth messing with your setup.
The miner is only working at 1/3 it's potential on 110v so it shouldn't burn out that soon. But you will probably barely reach ROi unless you get several to hedge your bet. Not worth the risk to barely break even.👎🏻
As shown here, this device has about a 3 year ROI. Meaning it won't generate actual profit over the initial investment costs for 3 years (~1000 days or so). It also isn't clear if this was recorded before the halving or not, so the daily investment recovery could be near half of what is calculated in the video, making the ROI closer to 6 years. That's also assuming 6 years of miner improvements don't turn this model basically into a very expensive personal space heater during that time and energy prices don't go bonkers too. Or some successor to bitcoin comes along. At some point, that will happen if the consolidation to whales (including the ETFs, countries, and Microstrategies out there) continues and the demand for transactions is essentially a market (for BTC) with a dedicated exchange (getting the transaction on the blockchain).
Definitely not worth it... $5 per day with $3 electricity barely $2 "Profit" for a machine that's sold for more than $2,500...ROI = never. Investing a ton of money for PSU and cables...rubbish.
I unsubscribed just to show how upset i am with your referral maybe stop recommending businesses that send non functioning miners out the box from asic market place very sad but i dont think i should be giving you value if i dont get some myself i paid 700$ for the ks0pro which i found out was way cheaper plus it came out of the box not working and its been almost a month now waiting for rain lee to send me the fans to make it work very sad
Sorry to hear you've had a bad experience with AM. Send us an email with details about your experience and we will reach out to Rain and ask about it. We've had a lot of users have very positive experiences with AsicMarketplace. We've had no effect on what product or service you received from AM, but I hope it gets resolved for you.

How's it going Vosk? Glad to see you're still creating these videos after all these years. How's Tails? Hope all is well. Keep up the good work.

So glad I watch your channel, THESE are what are needed for decentralization.
I have a s19a 96Th and had to move and dont have access to 220.. can i buy the power attachment to plug it into my s19a?
yes this is shown w/ these 2 miners, but it should work for any s19 that luxos supports, it should be possible w/ braiins too but I haven't actually replicated it, with braiins
Can you solo mine to your own local node like a Futurebit Apollo?
Do you have to use Luxor? Could you use Braiins and just plug in the same numbers? I’ve got a spare s19 and might plug it in where I work and use their⚡️. 😬
should be the same process, I just havent replicated w/ braiins yet

with a situation like that, it's a no brainer IMO, my buddy is in the same scenario

Love your videos mate. Great viewing
thanks jb!

This video made before or after halving?
before
shot a few days ago, before
Maybe I missed it but what is the price on this unit
Looked like ~$2400 USD.
A step up voltage converter and underclock can provide similar results while saving $200+.
IMO more efficiency loss & less safe
Is the 3D printed case flameproof? If you put a match to it, will it continue to burn? I assume this does not have UL Listing for safety. It could cost you your whole garage if it burns up.
a good question, I'll ask altair
can i solo mine with this unit?
Seems like a perfect home miner. I wonder if this would be profitable in the UK?
its a great option, depends on your elec rate and btc price / network hash really
What are those orange bowling ball looking things next to the miners?
Can this urlacher connect to most mining pools ???
btc pools yes
How much is the total cost of the hardware needed? (So I don’t have to do math lol)
But at a profit of $2 a day? That is $725ish a year and this thing costs almost $4k? Most miners last 18 months. I’ll pass
You are not supposed to ask questions. How else are the mining makers and these people referring them going to make money?
It’s about half that, and sure pass, it’s a niche product for people without access to 240v I’m surprised more people cannot understand that lol

I agree
most of his videos should be that way

Is this worth doing on a normal S19 95TH?
It’s worth doing on any miner if you don’t have access to 240v and want to mine with it
That was helpful. Is average lifespan for such a miner really only about 18 months? Saw that in comments.

@@troywhite6039 i hear ya. Thanks.
Holy shit Vosk.
License plate showed earlier careful 🙏 great content
It’s literally impossible to look up unless you’re a cop.
Buy 14 Nano 3?
😂
3 months later, TH-cam drop this in my feed line 😑. I could have get this 3 month ago.
$2/day???
$60 month plus space heating, minus investment ROi estimate. Barely break even by the time the machine breaks and becomes obsolete older model.
anywhere well with 0,27 kwh
I been watching you for while
You are the best
But pls wear ear plugs 😎
This makes the $12,000 Goldshell Alephium miner look like a steal at $100/day/ 68 day ROI
Well altcoin mining is more risky with a higher potential reward, like always lol
very cool.

I know people are used to coins like chia, and helium, but, it never hurts to do your research AND JUST BUY IT LOL LOL LOL
Dude, invest in a 10,000w Solar array already. I wanna see FREECOIN!!!
im trying to get there sooner than later lol
Solar is a scam, Geothermal is where you need too go, Solar only works when the Sun shines, Geothermal is true 24/7/365.
