Hike

Visit Date: 12/24/22.
Hiking Flint Peak, Glendale, CA.
Flint Peak is a bit of a mountain "oasis" within the sprawling megalopolis of Los Angeles. Once reaching the summit road, it is a rather straightforward walk up the road to the top. A locked gate keeps visitors from claiming the true high point, but "almost" seems good enough when there. Great city views and solitude makes this a worthy hiking destination!

Thanks for the suggestion! Now that I am shooting video, I am now revisiting many places that I had been to over the years. Cherry Canyon would be one of them whenever I stop by. I never did it from Gate#4, though, so that would almost be like a new hike. I look forward to heading over there, hopefully in 2023.
