Ayeee, another ZHP with G.A.S. CCV and coolant cap. I'm guessing you've got their DISA too. Good stuff. I did this intake side overhaul on mine a couple years ago and no joke I think I got a little jolt of PTSD when I saw those two stupid coolant pipes breaking off in the block for you too. Damn, I hated that. Glad you got it all done all right. Nice work and nice car. Keep it going!
I would recommend it only if you are keeping the car long term, let's say 5+ years AND if it's time to replace your old CCV system. It is pretty expensive and the wait time can be a little long. As far as oil consumption, well it made a minor difference for me, but I attribute that more to the previous neglect of the 8(!) or so previous owners. It made oil changes slightly more involved as you now have 3 allen head bolts instead of one large hex.

what is that metal thing to the left of steering oil carrier?
Sorry for the super late reply, but it's an upgraded CCV from German Auto Solutions.
Hello! I see you have a GAS CCV upgrade, would you recommend it? I hate the complicated and difficult to access factory setup!
