That opponent wanted badly to lose by keeping Theo until the end. But Kripp wanted that even more badly and won the losing competition.
P.S. Leeroy as cleave protection as second to last minion would have done it because it would kill the hydra, when the opponent did not yet have triple baron and blaster. It would have worked even if the bird proced on leeroy initially, it is triple and triple baron after all.
I'm more bothered by the fact he never used a hydra, on a hero designed to use cleaves

I think if he would have dropped one of the horses and picked up a hydra it would have ended a lot sooner. Macaw then hydra in the attack order gives the hydra a million attack to then kill at least 2 units and probably 3. That's for sure better than the extra horse.
Getting the extra horse let him use one of it as a reliable taunt, while the attack horse usually represents 4 kills compared to a Hydra's 2/3. Also, honestly? In that build, picking a Hydra over an extra Horse would've been the lamest shit possible.

@@krukblood-axe3649 Negative. That was the play. He didn't figure out that it doesn't matter how many times he triggers the buddy, giving more infinite attack to something that already has infinite attack and a small 9 hp buffer; doesn't make any difference.
He needs the macaw to die outright, no reborn so the next thing gets 'infinite attack'. Followed by something that dies on impact; like a hydra so it doesn't continue getting 'infinite attack' because it will have enough. Followed by another macaw. Then followed by Blanchy. Hydra is the best minion to buff that dies outright, that's why it was the play.
@@krukblood-axe3649 The horse only represents 2 kills. 1 for its first life and 1 for its next. If you are including the divine shield, you miss that the hydra would also have a divine shield if it was the substitute. This means the hydra is always hitting for at least 2 on the first hit, and then at least 1 more if it gets hit without divine shield. This means the hydra minimum is 3 units killed, and the upside is a lot more whether the hydra gets more hits off or it dies and the next minion with divine shield gains attack.

Yes. Last week on stream he had golden secret guy and golden baron against a Tess who stole that entire board and the secrets on both sides took THAT long resolve that it skipped 3 buying phases

How would Leapfrogger not have worked? It'd be added to 4 beasts, 2 of which had reborn and presumably would have kept the leapfrogger deathrattle (? not sure how the horse works).
Maybe the math doesn't work out, but it seems more reliable than the second bird.
Cause if it the bird hit the frog deathrattle to begin with, he wouldnt as much value compared to the raptor's deathrattle. It wouldve popped out a few frogs, but thats in. Then his stats are just way lower than his opponents. Being able to zap shields, add taunt, and a bunch of attack is better
No cleave tech though? Wouldn't that get stats into the stratosphere on a good prock?

the buddies deathrattle is technically a buff/enchantment and not innate to the minion,so is it really a good idea to give it reborn?

The Akazamzarak secret scam is too strong at this point that I'm seeing it almost every lobby from ETC, Scabbs, Tess.. it's starting to make the game feel bad. It was fun the first time but having to sit through a 5 minute combat phase and watching poisonous snakes pop up and having minions replicate/divine shield etc just gets boring IMO
I haven't come across it yet and I play at least 10 matches a night. Lucky me I guess. But you're right, it's incredibly annoying and poorly designed

Kripp deserved this why in the world he wasnt doubling an attack that could clear that taunt or leaving leeroy in a position to take out someone strong made no sense to me, there was points he could have gave a hydra massive attack and won or boosted leroy out of bomber range or anything besides putting the bird in the spot. The health aoe and doubling was not a big deal except on opener and then later on jeeeeesus kripp you try to go so big brain sometimes
had the bird to proc and the actual guy and the bird again and the actual guy again and 2 units that could keep the attack for 3 turns ooooof
Lost the craziest undead match of my life last night because my divine shield 30/30 Rivendare got sniped 4 rounds attacks in a row the second my taunts went down. Absolutely insane how dumb rng is sometimes. I lost by like 1 eternal knight

I fucking hate the secret hero. It's absolutely boring to watch and probably drives most of our game timers to 80+ seconds. Get rid of it if fix the timer.
