I have one too, bought about 3 years ago, not used daily, but for shop/home use. Great buy as far as I can see, no failures. Glad to see you back in the saddle again!
you made a great purchase. I'm a carpenter and have found that compressor to be the best compressor for the money. we use it daily, easy to carry, runs two nail guns. Just need to have a longer hose so you can set it farther away because of the noise. Best compressor you can buy. by the way, you can actually order parts for it and repair it pretty cheap. best deal yet
Had one like it , worked great for about 8 years ,just be sure to drain often ,tank kinda thin and will rust out quick in high humidity areas . loved mine and worked it hard .
Nice buy! I have the exact same style except it’s Porter Cable. The key to helping the longevity of those pancake compressors is to drain the water often. Take care! 👍
Nice compressor! Plumb it into a a repurposed 100 gallon propane tank then you have lots of stand by air volume and the compressor not cycling on and off like crazy, hope the hound and the new chickens are doing good! 👍👋
I have a harbor freight 6 gallon and it works awesome for average around the house use. The Craftsman will probably be a better unit than the harbor freight. One suggestion buy nail guns. I never thought I would ever use a nail gun till I bought one wish I had bought them years ago.
I love the way you refer to things as a "she" and a "her". Loving your channel! Pancake compressors are loud AF based on personal experience here. I got a hotdog compressor and it's not as loud.
I'm so happy I subscribed to your channel . You're a good dude and a fun personality .You are a combination of some family members and acquaintances in northern Michigan .. Keep chooch'n !
You scored a great deal there. I bought basically the same one when I moved to a smaller shop a dozen years ago and I love it. I gave my big old Craftsman compressor that I bought in the mid 80's or so to my brother when I bought the 6 gal. He still uses that old compressor and it works like a charm. In fact, I've been using it for the last few months while restoring a boat at his place and it functions like it did the day I bought it. I've never had a lick of trouble from either of the Craftsmans I've owned. I've had other compressors that I liked just fine but I'm a fan of Craftsman compressors. They work great and they don't cost much. Yeah, they're loud but, hell, compressors are loud. No big deal to me.
I've had the same compressor for a couple years now. Regular usage installing flooring and trim day in day out and she's held up beautifully. No complaints from me. Edit; just as others have said though I'd replace that hose post haste. I never used it because I had another one, but the hose that it comes with isn't top notch quality and a decent one won't set you back much.
A great purchase you will be happy with no doubt. We have the same one for our shop at work and we put it through its paces with hand tools and filling truck/ skid steer tires, etc. Definitely worth the money for how light weight, portable and versatile it is. Deadly!
I've got one just like it, lol. The yellow coiled plastic hose mine came with sucked, so I got another hose and it's fine now. I think that they're great lil compressors. Like you said man, easy to carry around. Raise hell and praise Dale man.
I'm distracted by the fact Your Vehicle Blows up..What the heck! Thats as cool as that Cute little Air Compressor You blew it up with, 💥!, My mind has had bene blown .
I've got the same compressor, but a few years older. The machine works great for nearly every thing I need it for. But ... mine came with a terrible coiled yellow hose of pure crap quality. Where the hose connected to the couplers (at both ends) it leaked something terrible. They sent a replacement and it was of equal shit. Upgraded to a better hose and no complaints ... except it is loud.
Always handy to have a small portable compressor. I have added a small propane tank to hook up with the portable in my little work area. The 25 lb tank gives enough volume to allow a better performance and reliability with larger jobs that helps avoid the purchase of a bigger less portable compressor.
That's all I've owned is a small air compressor. I use air impacts, plasma cutter, paint sprayer with mine. I've owned mine for 3 years and no problems with it.
I have one of these little bad boys and I can see many of your viewers do as well! I've had the same pancake compressor (like the one on your video) and it's going towards 10 years. Great little unit for what you bought it for. It's not fit for a contractor who needs a much more "beefier" compressor but for your use and most everyone else who owns one... I'd say their spot on friend. Time is flying by this year. It won't be too long and you'll be setting some early fall trap sets for the coyotes I would think. I'm glad your getting a break from making continuous videos during the off-season. You worked your tail off for about 8 months straight and you need to recharge your batteries and be fresh for the new season! I still enjoy the random videos friend. Looking forward to what lies ahead!
Looks like a great buy. Craftsman historically has a good warranty, my dad always had craftsman when I was a kid, so now I have a bias in favor of them lol
I've been a framer for over 30 years. Ended up taking over a company that didn't have many tools so I bought this for $200 it came with a 1 inch stapler two and a half inch finish nailer 16 gauge 18 gauge brad nailer the compressor lasted 5 years framing walls nailing off roofs and walls I still have the 16 gauge finish nailer in my stapler finally took a s***. you cannot beat them for the price if you wait till Father's day you can get the compressor for a hundred bucks I bought two of them since 2.8 CFM will keep up with one framer. Keep up all day with finish trim. Nailing a floor off with 3-in nails URL end up waiting a little bit. But other than that worth every penny. Just realized it's Craftsman mine is Porter Cable I have no idea about Craftsman I do love their hand tools but I do not buy their power tools!
I have to same compressor. It's OK for small jobs. Not great for bigger jobs as it will run constantly with such a small tank. But, very convenient. Spend the money on good hoses.
I have been shopping for a compressor of this size, but it looks like I will be going with the Ridgid equivalent for $139can with a 3 year warranty. It is supposedly quiter also.
You'll hate that hose in -30°. Get yourself a rubber hose be a lot more flexible come winter time. This compressor will work decent in the winter time because it's oil-less. Lifespan is shorter than oil compressors but in cold weather oil compressors will not work or start up they will just strip breakers especially in your weather!
Am I the only one who hits the like button before even watching the video?
Lmao was about to post a comment with:
"I'm a simple man. I see a new T&I video, I open it and click like right away"
Same here just because you know its gonna be cool
I click like even before video starts because you know it's going to be good
"That's the only test that matters, the test of time."
Great quote.
I have the same one. I’ve had it for over a decade and it’s not too pretty bad…. Good purchase dude
Back again my lucky week!
I just got one and wanted to watch a couple of reviews. Thanks. As a side note, look at the view this guy has. What a gorgeous place!
ive been runnin a craftsman compressor for years and decades. great choice
I have one too, bought about 3 years ago, not used daily, but for shop/home use. Great buy as far as I can see, no failures. Glad to see you back in the saddle again!

Whole lot better than a bicycle pump for filling truck or quad tires in the bush!👍😎
It’s good to see that your well and got the truck working again. :)

Good buy... I have the exact one. I use it to drive spikes or 8 pennies, through my air nailer! You'll love it.
I have a harbor freight 6 gallon and it works awesome for average around the house use. The Craftsman will probably be a better unit than the harbor freight. One suggestion buy nail guns. I never thought I would ever use a nail gun till I bought one wish I had bought them years ago.
Spend the winter making a ton of beehives with one of these units, she works like a dream.
Seems like a valuable addition. Adding tools that make life easier works for me. Keep up the great content. Try to stay cool!
Also that stock hose will get rock hard in the cold. Buy a different one asap before winter.
Nice TO SEE you again STAY SAFE AND BLESS

Hello it great to see you.

Yep... Michigan...the lost province
Love the Canadian accent dude just picked up this compressor today
I bought mine in 1997...still functions like a champ. It's "deadly"!
You scored a great deal there. I bought basically the same one when I moved to a smaller shop a dozen years ago and I love it. U did good review. An honest review. I'm thinking if getting same one. Thank u. Love the house and the outdoors u have.
That'll def work great blowing out the cabin/shops and running small tools. Love my little pancake and been running her for 10 years.
This is the best thing I’ve ever seen
Thanks for the review, I was just looking for one. It's roasty out for sure, but fall is comin quick
@K Vn I know, I feel the same
I've got one just like it, lol. The yellow coiled plastic hose mine came with sucked, so I got another hose and it's fine now. I think that they're great lil compressors. Like you said man, easy to carry around.

Everyone needs such a compressor
18F -7C air lines freeze up. Thanks for the videos.
great honest review
The air compressor work great 👍 .I gave us three years of good service no problem with it we do ,nail gun, cars, and truck it useful 👍
I'm distracted by the fact Your Vehicle Blows up..What the heck! Thats as cool as that Cute little Air Compressor You blew it up with, 💥!, My mind has had bene blown .

Got 6 of them for work , we run them hard and abused badly and get 2 roofing seasons on them . It will be great for you

Yes sir you definitely can use a compressor on the homestead , good buy , another great video !! Keep them coming . I

I've got the next size bigger, Had it for ten years work great
Awesome little unit 👍💯
Will find many uses for it. Good purchase. God bless be safe. Jim
That compressor was made pretty close to me in Jackson TN at porter cable. Identical to the 6 gal porter cable I've got.
Looks like a great buy. Craftsman historically has a good warranty, my dad always had craftsman when I was a kid, so now I have a bias in favor of them lol
Junk now a days the old tools are good thiugh
I have one just like it but porter cable
Ya bub!
If you need a thing, you need it!
Just buy it!
Nice purchase my boy. Have you been fishing at all?
You should do a video of what’s you keep in your truck
Very Portable and My Porta-cable brand looks the same as this one.
No regrets at all. Plus my bigger compressor will last longer.
I've been a framer for over 30 years. Now i want a compressor,i have no use for one but i want to be one of the cool kids
I’m a Craftsman tool guy as well for my off grid building 🤙🏼😁👍🏼
Great video thanks again
Used these for my nail guns on the roof for a decade and a half
Totally killer video, eh? Love your toque!
Well done. Good info. TY
Looks good I like the review I think I'm going to get one small like that
Thanks 👍
Its a craftsman made in the US(came back to kentucky in 2019) That bitch will last forever.
Gets pretty hot so I use a fan on it if running for more than an hour . Keeps the motor cool and lasting
I have the same one works great for nail guns
Amstel light in a can??? Sacrelidge! Great video
You will definitely get good usage out of that!
My only gripe with this compressor is that it 'walks' easily. Many times I had it walk down the driveway and unplug itself
I have to same compressor. It's OK for small jobs. Not great for bigger jobs as it will run constantly with such a small tank. But, very convenient. Spend the money on good hoses.
The camp porch is lookin' ship shape. I've been wondering if you were ever going to do that.
Good deal for you.
Have the same one. Perfect to have around the place. I use it mostly to detail my SUV. Dog hair is the enemy lol.
A damm fine review thx needed that. thanks for givin er
Sweet deal bro 👌 awesome for motor cleaning b4 spanners and alsorts of useful tasks 🍻😎👍
I'm so thirsty for a Canadian Dry Ginger Ale now "A"
😊👌Minty.
I paid 150$ cad at can tire for my 5gal compressor i also bought the 20$ portable one too. The real deal is a scroll compressor.
Hi friend, how much did you pay for the land and how big is it, it is a beautiful place you have.
I have been shopping for a compressor of this size, but it looks like I will be going with the Ridgid equivalent for $139can with a 3 year warranty. It is supposedly quiter also.
Breaks trade in for a new one.
You'll hate that hose in -30°. Get yourself a rubber hose be a lot more flexible come winter time. This compressor will work decent in the winter time because it's oil-less. Should be pretty useful buddy!!👍
Ya budd!!
I have the same one 👍🏽
I'm from pennsylvania and you kinda sound Pennsylvania Dutch.
can i use this compressor to spray raptor liner on parts of my car? will it do the job?
Nice
👍👍
Craftsman is now owned by Lowes iirc.
Also what tires are those on the 12v?
all the oil less ones are loud but if you need one who cares it will get you going in a pinch
👍👍👍👍👍
oh yeah bud
Good little compressor...glad its not harbor freight.
