This is hands-down my favorite piece I've ever made! It started with a rough Mesquite burl which I turned round enough to put in a bucket and added some TotalBoat High Performance Resin. I love the way it swirled. Fantastic!

What a Beauty. The Burl and the resin color choices are Spectacular!
I have turned several pieces of Arizona Desert. Mesquite and I am convinced that it was one of the most difficult, hard, yet, the most beautiful wood available. Great job. Thanks for sharing. Ted.
THAT is a real beautiful art piece, so pretty to look at, and functional too.
Finally someone using just carbide magnificent
Such beautiful grain and figure, the resin swirls fit right into make an interesting whole.
That is absolutely amazing! The epoxy matches the wood perfectly! ❤
Simply gorgeous!
Beautiful work.
Thank you very much!
As one that grew up, cowboyed and pushed brush along the Texas-Mexico border, I must say your choice of resin colors is absolutely PERFECT!! What a stunning work of art!!
Thank you very much!
Super tare 👍👍👍👍👍🍯
Really amazing piece. I agree with some of the comments, I’m glad you didn’t take away too much material and let the initial shape kind of speak for itself. This was one of the most stunning pieces I’ve seen.
Thank you very much!
Absolutely an amazing piece of art. I’ve never seen anyone else use that much pigment before, but it’s result speaks for its self. I hope other learn from your example. Thanks for sharing this with us.
Thank you so much! I was hoping to oversaturate the resin to get some of that wave effect.
Просто супер👍👍👍
...мне б мастерскую)))
Спасибо
When you started putting on the finish on the outside, all I could think was, Oh Wow! Absolutely stunning. Being that I have lived in many places of Arizona, I have always loved the beautiful wood of mesquite. Great job. Love it. 😊♥
Thank you so much!
Mesmerizing, You sure did pick the right color scheme..! Nice work!
Speachless! Wonderful piece of art! 🏆
Wow, thank you!
Well it doesn't happen often, actually this is the first time, that my thoughts and the TH-cam woodturner's are one in the same. When you first turned this piece around and took to the lip ever so gently with your round carbide I found myself thinking that this was going to take forever. Then I thought no, wait a second, all he needs to do is taper the outside slightly to the bottom and square off the base and that shape would be perfect! Then you turned the mortise for your badge and I got all kinds of excited! Thank you so much for NOT turning away 75% of the material that was always meant to be the outside shape of this turning. Many turners on TH-cam make many many beautiful pieces but I do honestly often find myself wondering why so much of the initial material ends up on the floor. This piece is absolutely phenomenal! To be quite blunt, there is only one other turning that I have seen that MIGHT beat it...and I'll have to go back and look to make a final decision.
That’s very kind of you to say. Thank you!
That is perfect, buddy. 👍👍👍 beautiful piece. 😊😊🙂

Beautiful piece. I love the way the colors swirl. Exactly which total boat did you use. Every time I por something that deep mine gets giant cracks.
Thank you so much! It was high performance, in a pressure pot.
Gorgeous, it's almost as if someone poured molten gold into this fine piece of woodworking. Appreciate you sharing your hard work ... PS: I clicked "Thumbs Up" as soon as I saw your logo plate/emblem/thingy ... I like that it's wood itself unless I'm mistaken. That is fine attention to detail!
Yes, that logo is a wood disk. Thank you!
Beautiful work
Thank you so much 😀
Freakin beautiful.
Thank you!
Superb.....big like !
Thank you! Cheers!

Beautiful piece from Crafted Nature by Rick Collins. Love the colors.
Thank you so much!
Nice job👍
Thank you! Cheers!
You do beautiful work, but this one is my favorite!!!
Wow, spectacular. How difficult was the mesquite to turn?
Not bad you got to keep your tools sharp it does help if it’s green then dried out after
It is pretty hard. I wasn't able to get good cuts using the bowl gouge when hollowing, which is usually a sign to be that it's harder than most woods I've worked with.
Beautiful.
Thank you!
Flat out beautiful. Is the redish pigment Dragons Breathe?
No, just some red mica powder
Nice bro😍
Thanks 🔥
That finish tho!
I did it myself thanks to Woodprix.
Super travail ! ;)
Merci!
I'm normally not a fan of these resin burl mixes because most people screw the colors up and then I consider it a waste of wood but that is an awesome color pattern and definitely not a waste of wood good job
thank you!
Awesome :)
Thank you! Cheers!
