I'm always grateful for people to share their language free on youtube, they have taken time and effort and I thank them. But I do so wish they would understand that simply saying a long list or words or phrases with translation is not anything resembling a lesson and is practically useless for learning. What is useful is presenting a few words or phrases at a time and then afterwards memory drills--saying the word in English and giving time to remember and then say it before the teacher giving the answer. If there is no regular testing of memory, there is no learning, simple as that. I've been looking for a video that I can put on while I'm driving and practice--but after hearing so many of these, it's clear I'm going to have to buy something designed by real teachers.
Hvala, this was very useful to learn.I recommend everybody to record lessons on their phone and listen to them carefully on your headphones.I always do that and it helps me a lot.
Hello MoMo, thank you for your comment. I am happy to hear that people listen to us from all parts of the world. If you have any recommendations please feel free to let us know. Happy learning! :)
How to speak Bosnian omg! Thanks for replying!! I really would love a video on basic sentence structures in the Bosnian language. I’m trying to work on building sentences and conversations. Don’t know if there’s already videos on that, but just thought I’d ask :) thank you❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Can you help me out please, in my grammar book it says "Imaš li ga ti" I understand Imaš li is "do you have" but as far as the "ga ti" I'm pretty confused. Any help would be appreciated :)
Excellent question! Let's take a look at a similar example in English. I have a dictionary or I have it. IT refers to the dictionary. In Bosnian, our example dictionary is a masculine noun and in accusative case the pronoun for it is GA. So, the question you mentioned really means - Do you have it (object male gender). They also emphasized the You in that example. It could be something like this: I don't have a dictionary, John doesn't have a dictionary also. Do YOU /refer to someone else, have it (dictionary)? Hope this helps!
Hello there, thank you for your comment and question. I hope to create a specific video dedicated in teaching you these differences in more detail but for now i will try to briefly explain this. EXAMPLE: TVOJA is used when you are talking to one person (singular) or when you are talking informally with someone. VAšA -is used when you are referring to a group of people (plural) or when you are talking to someone of high respect (very formal). example: VASA kuca je velika i veoma moderna / YOUR (singular but someone who is older than you) is very big and modern. Hope this helps!
