Hello, I'm from Slovakia. The personal pronouns are 100% identical as in Slovak language. (only in writing since 19th century we use sometimes 'y' instead of 'i' , but pronunciation is the same y=i.

A hearty thank you for your concise videos. You asked why we are learning Croatian in one of your videos...I married a Croatian man in the USA. We have three young children. I have been learning the language on-line for 7 months through a free program offered by our local library called BYKI (Before You Know It)- mostly vocabulary, infinite verbs and some phrases. Now I am moving towards conjugating those verbs and putting it all together...The kids and I will spend the school year with my in-laws in Croatia next year with the hope we will be able to speak Croatian well when we return home.

You can also try searching sources that teach Croatian - the language is nearly the same and there are some nice websites/courses available for free like hr4eu.hr or easy-croatian.com

It's important to know these slavic languages because there are a lot of neighbours living here in Brazil and we're used to understand them. Hvala vam, molim, já sam in Brazilje i já malo govorim hrvatski jezik. Slovenian is almost similar. Good video/Dobar video/Bom video

jezik je srpsko-hrvatski, sve ostalo su dijalekti. ako si zapravo iz bugarske, onda ti mogu čestitati jer poprilično dobro barataš jezikom.
I am native Bulgarian, many words are easy to understand but the inflections and varieties are harder and probably take time to learn.

We are notable but underestimated polyglots. The fact that learning one language here makes you automatically intelligible in the other three is impressive and yet sad because politicians (The Nationalists) want us to remain divided like that. We are so mutually intelligible that we can form a constructed language that will truly give the feeling of Yugoslavism and not some "Serbo-Croatian" or "Serbian" hegemony.
In theory, Yugoslavism is the idea of a united South Slavic federation comprising the South Slavic nations such as Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia, Serbia, Montenegro, Macedonia, and Bulgaria. Due to the "human nature" in the Balkans, achieving this is practically impossible but if done, it will guarantee the Brotherhood and Unity that all Yugoslavs seek for.

Been trying to learn for years but never found a good lesson. Im 23 years old and never had a conversation with my 93 year old grandma (only one I have left) I know basics just from growing up around it but I just feel umcomfortable trying to speak it with someone

I live in the US, but am thinking about moving to Montenegro. My mom is Russian and my dad was from Ukraine. So I have an ok grasp of Russian. It feel like this would be a easy transition from what I already know from that slavic language. Would you agree? Also love your teaching style you definitely have a new subscriber.

Hi everyone. I moved to Montenegro about 3 weeks ago. But not for holiday, for living. I am taking Montenegrin lessons from a girl that who knows turkish. And I am turkish. The girl who teachs me montenegrin is going to come back to turkey on september cause she is going university there. And school is gonna start on september. Montenegrin is so hard and I dont know what to do because there is so much things to know. All words are changing everytime and I really dont know what am i going to do in school😭 If theres a someone who knows that how to learn montenegrin easily or idk anything. Maybe you guys know some books or idk anything will be useful for me. I have to learn it.

I am Russian. My mother tongue is Tatar. I learned Croatian and Serbian as a foreign languages when I stayed in Velebit for one year. There I also started to help foreigners to start speaking Croatian.
