Oh, I'm all over this now! I used Prezi for a long time. I've been using Canvas more and more. With this plugin I get the best of both worlds. And yeah, connecting canvases is something I've been wanting. This is great!
@@Marco_Mindstone 100%! I've been using it for the last few days and can confirm it is a gamechanger for me. I've reworked some canvases to leverage the linking (portals) and have created a given a presentation using the presentation mode. This is going to streamline a lot of my thought process and the work I do. I'm totally donating a contribution to the creator.
Thank you for making this video. I am a new user and was making a mind map. Im really confused... how do I center the text, change shape, etc. Turns out this plugin is the ultimate answer. Also thank you to the developer of the plugin.
Thanks cool - could you add (external) links to a card or group so that I can jump from one group or card to another card/group. or from one canvas to another - thanks
Thank you! To easily see links between canvases, I suggest you to install Canvas Links. This plugin allows you to see outgoing links and backlinks related to canvases.
I was thinking more about links, where you can jump from one card or group to another. also across canvas. like in miro for example. (external linking)@@Marco_Mindstone thnaks 🙂
Unfortunately it seems it's not working at the moment. The dev wrote this in the github repo page: "Due to a high-priority project and other reasons, development of Advanced Canvas is paused until 20th Nov."
Hi Ritchie, unfortunately I think that the best way to do that is to simply copy/paste the card. At the current state there is no command that allows you to do that.
@@Marco_Mindstone Like, i clicked download multiple times because i thought the first click doesnt work so i clicked download multiple times and i have 5 advance notes now

Absolutely! For me, it’s a must have for anyone who wants to have a great Obsidian canvas experience.

Thank you!
Let me know what you think after you have tested it!
Thanks for the video. The presentation feature is great as well as the canvas interconnection.
Thank you!
Yes, it’s a very nice and useful implementation!

@@dubo5759 Ohh ok, I misunderstood sorry. At the moment I don’t think there is a solution for that.
how to change the shape of the arrow line, so it doesn't across other notes?

Is it possible to duplicate a card with a keyboard shortcut so that I can keep the same properties such as center and specific colour?

@@Marco_Mindstone ... That's a pity. Thanks for getting back to me. I appreciate it.
@@ritchiee1980 Maybe you could try using templater for doing so
@@castillo5148... Thanks for that.
Gracias 👌

How long can approval take?
Honestly I don’t know. It depends on code reviews.
This proves that the core canvas plug-in is way too barebones. I hope it expands quickly
Totally agree on that.
Google slides on steroids
It’s a fantastic support if you want to showcase an idea, a concept, a project..!
