The passion and expertise with which you've made this complex subject accessible is simply breathtaking. This integration between financial management and note-taking is a game-changer for my organization and productivity. A huge thank you for this valuable contribution and the inspiration. Hello. Very grateful for this video! Everything is simple and clear! 👏👏 What is the best thing to do if I have three accounts with different currencies? Should I create three separate notes or is there a better way?
Hey! Thank you :) You can't add transactions in multiple currencies through the "Add to ledger" command since you can only select one default currency from the settings panel. However, you can add them manually by following this process: 1. Switch to markdown view 2. Scroll all the way down and write the transaction. For example: 2024/08/16 Transaction X Assets:Banking:FirstBank $99.92 Income:BusinessX Cheers
Hi, unfortunately you can't link transactions to notes, or write notes about transactions directly from the ledger file. The only thing you can do is to add more information inside the "Payee" field.
