Fever - Dr.Mario - Video Game Music Electric Violin Cover#21 - Roz Freedom

- Hello everyone!
This time we covered the NES version of "FEVER", the main theme of Nintendo's video game "Doctor Mario".
I performed wearing a Santa Claus costume that is perfect for this season! 🎅
(When arranging this song, I quoted the phrase from the famous song "Jingle Bells"♪)
There are already a number of great cover videos of this song created by other creators that show people having fun playing it, so I was influenced by those videos and tried to play it in a fun way. (I worked harder than usual!)🎻🎶
In order to be able to play along with the rhythm, I practiced dancing beforehand and practiced playing the violin while balancing on one leg. I was shooting those scenes to use them as off-shots in the middle part, but it was so surreal and interesting that I decided to use them in the main part😀
As a result, the number of cuts I shot increased, and I spent even more time editing the video than before, but I think I was able to create a video that I enjoyed 😊

Now, talking about the tones of the electric violin, for the verse and bridge, I use the acoustic clean tone that I have often used and the square wave tone of the SY-200.
However, for the chorus, I created a new tone by processing the SY-200's synth brass tone with a ring modulator.
The tone goes up an octave in the final chorus, but this tone uses a pitch shifter.
This is due to the trigger performance of the SY-200. In other words, you can get a better tone with more power than actually playing a melody one octave higher.
