I love how when Tony sits up he goes to brush off Peter’s dust but stops because he realises who that dust is, he goes from “shit” to “no, wait”. He then holds that dust in his hand close to his chest and embraces it, like a hug. He held what was left and was devastated. //the hug in Endgame confirms that when he held the dust against his chest and face it was an emotional embrace of Peter.
Peter turns to dust, tony does everything he can to bring back peter... tony then does that, Peters alive and now Tony’s gone. And Peter would do anything to bring back Tony now... hopes it would happen... but most likely it won’t...

@@marley3076 yeah damn!i knew he would wield the gauntlet, i guessed it before the movie came out and logically knew he couldn't survive it but i was hoping they'll find some loop hole. But hey peter and tony had the best reunion and the reverse parallel of infinity war was heart breaking but poetic and tragically beautiful.and we know far from home is going to focus on peter's grief and how he deals with losing tony so there is going to be angst . uhh man putting it altogether start to end,these two have had the most beautiful story arc together in the MCU.There is just so much heart in it

I think why their relationship was so pure is because Tony was like Peter for Howard Stark. A teen that didn't listen and pushed him. Without the wealth of course but as a teenager he tested his dad and didn't have the best relationship. Now he's having to deal with that himself with Peter and trying to be a better dad figure even though Tony's antics probably pushed Howard over the edge, but Tony is still trying to be a better Tony and father figure all in one. That's what I get from this. Especially in homecoming when he says in passing 'sorry, I'm talking to a teenager' when he's on the phone to Peter and losing his cool. He gets it now. What his dad had to deal with.
