Mint also stores beautifully just wash it and put it in a closed container with damp paper towel and keep it in the refrigerator. change the towel once and a while, I have stored fresh mint for MONTHS using this method!

Cut mint, basil or any other herb and clean and chop. Then put in ice trays with water and when frozen put them in a freezer zip bag. Use them to flavor teas, soups, sauces, etc.

If you cut back the mint every week and put in a glass of water on a 4" stem minimum and in a week you will see loads of shoots coming from the bottom and plant. You will have loads of beautiful mint plants.

I’ve had a lot of trouble growing mint in general. It would die of for seemingly no reason and then come back a few days later. It would look wilted and sad despite being watered regularly and then spring up out of nowhere. It wasn’t over or under watered and it had plenty of light, so I’m at a loss😅

Mohitos! Use 12 leaves of mint.
    2 lime slices
1 teaspoon white sugar, or more to taste
¼ cup ice cubes, or as needed
1 (1.5 fluid ounce) jigger rum (such as Bacardi®)
4 ½ ounces diet lemon-lime soda (such as Diet Sprite®)
    Directions:
Place mint leaves, lime slices, and sugar in the bottom of a glass and muddle with a spoon until mint is crushed. Fill the glass with ice cubes. Pour rum then soda over the ice; stir.

You should do one on lemon balm also. It is truly the best thing I've found for a potent calming effect and bonus it has zero sedating effect. So you can use it before bed or during the day when stressed. It works so well because the plant is unique in that the dried leaves have by weight around 30% of the active compound. Normally extraction processes are required to condense down actives in plants to get a powerful effect but not with lemon balm. Fresh or dried leaves just eat swallow 2-3 and down some water or make some tea. Potent and taste is pleasant too. Amazing plant to know about.

🌸 I do have mine in container as my mother told me about it spreading like wildfire
It did flower once and now I have it spread in different places in my garden 😂🤣
I have the original parent in pot and her larger babies in 6 bushes around my garden. It’s beautiful but I now noticed other smaller bushes being established, so I gifted the new babies to my friends…..when he said don’t let it flower it’s good advice not just to keep reaping the leaves throughout warmer months & possibly into winter when you take it indoors like I do, it also prevents it spreading like a weed lol
