SD gun Works did a great job on that pistol. I have been wanting a Glock 45 ACP and I’ve looked at police trade-in as a viable option. I think that’s the way I will go as I’ve never owned a police trade. Have been looking at AIM Surplus police trade ins.
Thanks Rich! I had been checking them out and then someone shared with me (not sure how they found it) a smaller store I don't even remember the name of that was selling them for about 100 less than Aim was. So I jumped. Then I went and spent far more on the upgrades, hahahaha. I've picked up 2 now. A Sig p229 and this one. Both have been great that I've been happy with.
Those trade-ins are worth considering, and watch for mags too. I agree that the M&P, through this route, is a quality piece. Really clean looking red dot install. Does that notch on the back of the 507K form a bit of a rear sight, possible cowitness with the stock front, or wishful thinking? Options in that footprint seem to be around with bigger, range fun windows, if that's a thing. Thanks for the Apex comments. I have a 9mm 2.0 trade in, that I might go this route, even though I like the Timney that I threw on the 40. Yup, an optic cut is coming. How many kidney beans fit it an SD cut, shipping aside, I was thinking primarymachine.
Nice video sir. A couple of really good points you made. Police trade-ins are great. You just got to pay attention to the details. I would not have started shooting 357 Sig if it wasn't for a police trade in . The second point is find yourself a good gunsmith. I know all my CZ carry dots because of my gunsmith. Nice get nice follow through sir
Thanks Michael!! Exactly. Although I'll admit I did gamble on this one. I bought it unseen and it was in better condition than the one I bought that I inspected!! I paid about 100 less than I'd seen other places advertising so I got very lucky. Then I was in a retail store recently and they had police trade-ins and a few of them were rough (like the officer actually trained with it! hahaha). A good gun smith is invaluable!!
nice looking pistol, the cerakote looks greats as well as the optic. also good to see the optic stayed on 😅 all joking aside i think having a milled cut is a far better option than using a plate to mount an optic. thanks for the video
I did see that UnitFour! My hesitation with them is some 5.7x28 ammo manufacturers claim you can’t run their ammo in the Keltec. I didn’t see anything from Keltec about improving the barrel and chamber to prohibit it from blowing up (or I guess slowing down the action on spicier ammo. Not sure what the problem was but I didn’t read any internal improvements. Did you see that they did? Btw, just shot some real 5.7 ammo testing again with 3 different barrel lengths and in gel. Thanks!!
@@triggerbarPhD Yeah, KelTec has some novel ideas, but their execution has been spotty. I've looked repeatedly at the Sub's, but every time I pass. When the Gen 3's came out I do remember reading that they did make some improvements, but I can't recall now. I do not have a 5.7 in the stable, maybe someday. It'll be interesting to see how the barrel lengths affect velocity in your testing. Have a great Sunday. I'm supposed to golf, so you know how my day is going to be 😒
I love the police trade ins. Great bargains

Not sure if you can tell me the name of the smaller store? If not email me please. richardbb@verizon.net
That turned out great Trigger Bar I sent my Gen1 M&P out for milling and am super happy with it. Awesome Video and nice shooting
Thanks Chris! Very accurate pistol and for being 40 very flat.
Great adquisition!
TTO turned me onto this deal but then laughed at what I did to it!! hahahaha

Looks fantastic!!
Thanks so much!!
Great looking pistol. Nice shooting man. 👍🏻
Thanks my friend!!
@@triggerbarPhD call me crazy but I still like the original M&P. Got a police trade in chambered in .45 and it’s great.
@wyominggunproject I love this gun. And for 250, crazy to go otherwise….
Good looking pistol. Good shooting. All the upgrades are pretty sweet. 👍🇺🇲
Thanks GreyShooter!! I appreciate it!
Pistol Looks Great, Nice Shooting.
You apparently forgot that you have to shoot a 40 sideways! 😂
Hahahaha 40 for hood!!

Very nice pistol! Gotta love a 40! Looks and shoots outstanding! 🤠👍
Thanks Ron! Hahaha yes, we don’t see many 40 guns talked about any more sadly.

😂🤣. Thanks Ram! Yes for sure. I’ve had far too many of them hitting me! I agree. I hate plate systems and think they should be banned!
Looks good. I like my Glock 22 Gen 4 police trade in I picked up.
So many great deals, thanks Jesse!! 40 is out of style and you can get these for so cheap! And if you reload, not much price difference!!
And......my comment was removed. 😡
Great job on that tool TBP👍👍👍👍👍👊👊👊👊👊
Ugh. Frustrating. Thanks TTO!
Oh, forgot to mention. Did you see that KelTec released their new Gen 3 Sub 2000 in 5.7x28?
