Bryan tells backstory of Through the Ice. I'm about ready to cry a tear for the heartfelt moment. Bryan one second later, this book sucks, it was written terrible, it's total garbage. I'm was happy to hear you liked the Assignment Series. He is CIA. Ranking videos from worst to best is a terrible idea?! I'm looking forward to your video. I really hope a kids books isn't number one. 4/5.
Haha yeah it was tough to rag on that one.... As soon as I finished recording I looked it up. You know I don't edit though. I'd prefer the internet to know just how dumb I am. It's a great idea. It really is. It's just so hard to make a list im confident in. I'm excited to do it though.
I always thought the cover of A Night in Terror Tower was better than the story. That guy gave me the creeps for a good while. I know exactly what the axe is used for! Also, I'm currently reading The Well of Ascension right now and agree it is sort of moving slow at the beginning but not bad. I'm reading it to my kids and they are enthralled, so that is something.
I haven’t read a Sanderson book yet (because I‘m not the biggest fantasy fan and very picky with my fantasy reads), and I also haven’t read a LeGuin book yet. Mostly because of the gender themes. I don’t want to go too much into details here, because I think social media is not the best way to „discuss“ such things, but I want my books to be the perfect escapism, and the gender debate is one of the things I like to escape from 😉 With that in mind, I should look out for some Executioner books with a healthy dose of vigilantism 🤣 Have you ever read the Parker books from Richard Stark/Donald Westlake? I like them a lot, and it’s kinda cool to be in the head of a bad guy from time to time.
I love the cover for Happy Bunny! Thanks for putting it on my radar.
Me too! Always happy to point people towards some great indie stuff!
You got badass taste in books! I'll definitely look forward to your ranking video!
Haha thanks man! Looking forward to doing it!
The Utah National Parks are incredible!
They're really spectacular!
Castle of the Crystal Blade sounds so fun and unique. I need to check that out. Happy Bunny and Other Mischief sounds so fun! You had a great month!
Yes! The indie books this month were great! Thanks so much for watching!
We've been to all 5 Utah National Parks and I agree, some of my favorite places on the planet. Looks like a well rounded month of reading.
It's a really special place. Thanks Ira!
Oh man, I LOVED the "Night in Terror Tower" episode as a kid. I've not had great luck re-reading Goosebumps as an adult so far
Yeah, honestly, there has probably been more misses than hits for me on this reread unfortunately.
Haven't read Left Hand of Darkness yet, it's on my list. I loved her novel The Lathe of Heaven!
I'll keep that one in mind! This definitely won't be the last of her that I read.

Oh that's awesome. Cool dad! I would have loved these as a kid I'm sure!
@ Well, they are slightly edited but stories or magic and assassins are pretty exciting!
A fiesty 4.5 for Downriver.
I can dig it, Sounds fun.
High pitched critics be damned.
I think you would enjoy it if you ever come across it. Or hell, you know I'll send it to you if you say the word. Haha
This T.H. Brandt guy sounds like total geek. Lol
*chugs Miller Lite
Haha. We all have booktube channels. Pretty sure that in itself makes makes all of us geeks.

I get wanting your fiction to serve as pure escapism.
I have not looked into those, I'll do that now!
