    Liver is the only food I just can’t eat. I have tried numerous times but just can’t swallow it. I love the way it smells when cooking. I will try them for my wife

    I love chicken livers, I will have to do some on my blackstone also. Growing up we had beef liver with onions more than chicken liver. I actually cooked some beef liver and onions on the griddle sunday for the wife.

      Nice! Never did much beef liver, we always did chicken livers. I have been meaning to try beef on the Blackstone though.

    I love chicken livers now and when I was growing up. I’ve been making them with onions and scrambled egg omelette for breakfast until my sister in law, from South Carolina suggested fried chicken livers. I’m making this recipe as I’m writing this. Looks delicious.

    I just got a Blackstone and came across youre channel. Those livers look fantastic. I grew up eating them. They are still one of my favorite foods along with gizzards. I can’t wait to try this. You’re videos are really great. I’ve learned a lot from watching them.

    Great recipe, like you lost my parses a while ago miss them terribly she used to make chicken liver and onions deep fried healthy eating wasn’t a big concern back then as it is now this way seem more health conscious well at least a little better lol I’ll give it a try soon

    Growing up my grandma cooked thematleast ounce a week I love them we have a restaurant in Gastonia called shrimp boat they have some good chicken livers

    We did them growing up fried and also sautéed in oil and the mix up cream of mushroom soup and serve the livers over rice and cover with the soup. Have a few places around that do fried livers so hit those some but will try this for sure.

    My local gas station (tom-thunb) has sold fried chicken livers for as long as I can remember, my mother and I still makes that trip around the corner to get a plate with white bread and hot sauce packets. We love Em

    Oh Hussey..... I've been down with pretty much everything you've made on this channel, but I can't do the chicken livers!! My dad loves them and he used to eat livers and gizzards all the time when I was a kid! The only thing chicken livers are good for is catfishing!

    hey bro ive eat chiken livers since i was walking its been a long time family fav of ours my mom always battered and pan fried them with flour and some corn meal but o take a bit diff approach to mine i take them and wash them good in cold water in a collander or strainer which ever and i usually do a couple of 1 pound tubs i just use self rising flour about five cups and add some cayenne pepper paprika and a few dashes of garlic powder mix it well and break 4 eggs and beat well for an egg wash then i add some spg to my egg i set my fryer up with canola oil typically about three quarts and bring it to 345º dont over heat the oil very important put livers in egg wash them into flour mix and coat well and drop in fryer they will go to the bottom let them go its fine give them about three min and use a fryer scoop and flip them in the oil a few times and they will float to a golden brown scoop them out put on a layer of paper towels on a plate you can temp them or cut into them it should have a dark grey look with no red and they are done i love mine with A1 texas pete or even ketchup i have a video on my channel doing these if you wanna check it out its also one of my recipes in my cook book im putting together take care Godbless "forks down spatulas up"

    Those livers look good! Just my son and I like them in our household. So more for us. Mom used to make the with brown gravy and rice. Put a little sugar in the flour makes them good also

    I haven’t had chicken livers in forever! Back on the radar and will be doing on my Blackstone. My mom always did with onions and sliced green peppers. Love the wine sauce recipe. Will definitely do! Great job HH.

    Whitley’s BBQ in Lexington used to make a mean mess of them once a week on special back in the 80’s when Gene & Sylvia ran it. Just gimme ketchup and texas pete and thats all i need!

    Love them in Rumaki appetizers! Water chestnut, liver wrapped in bacon on a toothpick. Bake till crispy! Great New Years snack! Normally marinate the livers in soy and garlic.

I thought I was gonna die. I asked my mom what kind of sausage was that. She told me it wasn't sausage, it was liver. I never trusted her since. lol

      Yes!!! I think my mom did calf livers if I'm not mistaken. Never did chicken livers but I always LOVED my moms liver dinners.
