Adam Lambert's makeup often has that "slept in" kind of messy rockstar vibe that I LOVE. Plus he sings like he's sold his soul to the devil - or made a deal with angels....it's hard to tell which one. Loved this!

I’m so glad to see this comment. Adam really was a trailblazer for gay artists. He doesn’t get enough credit for his talents and the hardships he had to face when he launched his career.

Adam is such a beautiful man I dont think Ive ever seen him look anything other than fabulous. I hated that he was marginalised by Idol - hes been by far the most incredible singer they ever had as well as being a superb human. Im glad he gave you a tip too!!!

@@onednp the winner rarely does well outside a few of the earlier seasons so it was for the best. Chris Daughtry didn't win either yet is one the most successful idol contestants.
I prefer Marc Martell singing Freddie's songs... IMHO, Adam is an awesome singer, but not a Freddie Mercury impersonator, he's cool and talented just being himself ✌🏽😎

Oh I have loved Adam Lambert since he was on American Idol! He is absolutely gorgeous and he is insanely talented, I get chills when he sings! His album “For Your Entertainment” is incredible, every song on the album is amazing! He’s just a beautiful man and from what I’ve seen and what everyone says he’s an incredible human being as well! 🖤

Saw him perform live with Queen and I was skeptical at first. He won me over with his energy and talent. Absolutely amazing singer with incredible ....just everything.
I LOVE how excited Robert was to learn the beard oil tip. I love that while Robert is giving out his own tips and advice, he's not above being taught something new as well. We love to see a humble King.

Robert has an amazing way of giving great advice without sounding like he is talking down to someone. I love that and appreciate it immensely.
I have no idea how I know this lol, but Adam Lambert is naturally ginger with reddish brows, and he dyes his hair (including facial hair) dark brown. I can’t even imagine the upkeep tbh. I think that’s why his brow technique is relatively more heavy handed; it helps to hide lighter regrowth.
Maybe you know that bc when he was on American Idol, his Senior Portrait from high school swirled around on the internet. And now it seems like people rediscover it every so often. It definitely highlights his natural hair color hahahaha
Ginger eyebrows are the worst lol... I color mine too and its simplified my makeup routine so much because filling in and shaping my eyebrows isn't needed

I remember him on American Idol. He had that really dark blue-black hair back then. This brown hair color is so much softer. I LOVE it. His facial hair also looks great vs his clean cut look. He’s got a great face shape and the facial hair really accentuated that.

I think we all did. I remember some interview with his brother or friend or someone, and they said when Adam was a child, he was kind of nerdy with red hair, but as soon as he dyed his hair black, he turned into a sex god. 😂
I also remember when people started speculating that he was gay. Right before the finale, some paparazzi yelled at him "How does it feel to be the first?" implying that, should he win, he'd be "the first gay Idol." Adam, without skipping a beat, just smirked and said "The first what?" He was so smooth and wasn't going going to get tricked by that bait like that.

I actually really liked this reaction to Adam Lambert. I thought it was right up there with your John McLean reaction video. It was so refreshing to see a light, natural look. There was a reason for Adam's product placement, the light amount of makeup he used (really, I can get behind using only little bit of concealer and foundation), and he actually did deliver a natural makeup look without using a bunch of different products. I appreciated that Adam created his look the way most people would, with slightly unrefined moments - no, it wasn't perfect (I'm pretty sure that we all knew you were going to comment on the concealer on the eyelids), but it was clear that the gears were turning when he showed what products he was using and why. I love his glam looks, and wouldn't mind if you reacted to one of his full glam looks. But this was simple, easy, and quick. Again, I enjoyed this reaction very much!

Love him so much, ever since Idol. His was the only season I ever watched, and then I got to see him perform live quite a few times (Idol tour and his solo stuff). I was happy for him to tour with Queen, but wasn't sure if it was the right choice for his career in the long run. I've been thrilled with how well it's gone!
I've been stuck in a TH-cam rabbit hole of QAL videos lately, especially Who Wants to Live Forever at Isle of Wight, recorded the day after the Pulse Nightclub shooting, and I Was Born to Love You, a Queen song I'd never heard (or don't remember), but is huge in Japan. Adam is so technically good, and a joy to watch perform. I'm old enough to have gotten to see Queen with Freddie way back in high school, and I'm thrilled that they're still going all these years later, and not as an oldies/tribute act, but with Adam, as a rebirth. He's performing at London Pride this month, too, which is wonderful. I enjoyed this video, as he's charming and beautiful, as always. ❤️🧡💛💚💙💜
I'm pretty happy to see a celebrity with quite some knowledge about make up! I mean, he's always been into it and he's always had his own style but you can see he's really knowledgeable and not just copying YT trends. Also you look incredible today Robert!

I've seen Adam in concert with Queen and I remember noyicing his makeup! He always does a beautiful inner corner highlight that really pops! But his eyes are an amazing shape! I wish you would react to a more glam tutorial from him! 😊

I just love Adam Lambert and his role he played in the makeup world when he got popular years ago. I was following 17 magazine tutorials while listening to him with my sister.
And if I remember correctly, 17 magazine featured him and his makeup. I didn't realize I had this memory. He normalized men in makeup for me after growing up being taught that was 'wrong'

I've just started learning, but buying an eye primer absolutely made a difference in application.
(I'm using Juvia's Place i Prep, i Prime, in case anyone cares!)
I agree completely girl, I didn't realize how important it truly was until I heard Robert talking about it lol. I use the Urban Decay Primer Potion, you may like that one too, I think it's awesome. 🥰💜
An eye primer is definitely important, which is why I don't understand why people keep on using concealer as a primer since that product is not made for that purpose nor does it work as Robert has said countless times! It definitely doesn't work in my case, but what sucks even more is that primers in general (or at least the few I've tried) always dry out my eyelids even more than they are, because I have mild eczema around my eyes every primer or concealer etc that I put there dries out my lids and shows the eczema and I hate it!! :( I really wish I'd find a primer that'd work wonders for my lids!
@@annalucy89 hey, that is a tricky situation hon. Have you tried the urban decay primer potion? I really have no idea of how to deal with that but the only advice I could offer would be to make sure you are very on top of your skincare. Especially the moisturizing step. It may help to put a primer on top of moisturizer, I'm not sure of that at all but I feel like it's worth a shot and I'm trying to be helpful if I possibly can because I have skin issues too. Good luck sis 🥰💜

I can watch your eyes and know; Robert likes, disapproves or is pleasantly surprised. I also catch myself saying, "don't use concealer as eye primer, hold further back on the brush, don't drag the blush, yes, gray tone to contour and so on. I am a Robert record and yet I can't do most of these looks. Lol I might not be able to do makeup well but I can now instruct someone on the theory of makeup. Lol

i wish robert would release a video where he talks about like his big makeup career moments; which shows he loved doing, which magazines he loved working for, which trends he really liked recreating at the time. i really want to know more about those!
I used to be a skeptic on eyeshadow primer. I didn't see the need for it. At all until I started watching Roberts videos and tried it. I will never use concealer again! Even my cheaper drug store eyeshadow blend sit and blend so much better and last all day.
