Pool haircare suggestion: wet your hair before getting in the pool/ocean. Wet hair won't (well, can't) soak up chlorinated/salty water the way dry hair will. If you have fragile or damaged hair, try to work a bit of oil or conditioner in too as an extra protective layer. The gym pool used to destroy my hair and affected my curl pattern until I started doing this. Also, if the smell of chlorine is lingering in you hair (or on your skin or fabrics) you can just add a little ascorbic acid powder (ie vitamin c) to your shampoo and it will strip the smell out.
Great tip! Even tho our pool is saltwater (less harsh)... since we live in it in the summer in Texas I always coat my hair with "leave in" conditioner. It really helps a lot!
When you decide which is the best eye primer I’d love to see a battle of the eye primer video. I’m super interested in which one is the best so I can just buy that one and forget the rest. I don’t want to experiment because it takes too long to go through a bad one.
Last time she mentioned this, she said she liked the Sigma base, the Natasha Denona Eye Base Primer (?), and the Juvia's Place one. 👍🏻 Some people are complaining about having to shake the Juvia's Place one, so if you can't stand that, don't get the JP one. Otherwise, it works pretty similarly to the ABH one, but it's a more gel-like, slightly thicker formula? It works great for cut creases, though. 👍🏻 Quite opaque, when you apply it with a stiff brush. I personally don't mind paying a bit more for an eye primer, because they last for forever. I don't think I've ever finished a full liquid eye primer, before it expired. Stick ones, yes. And doe-foot type ones, yes (generally a lot less product in those). But never a full liquid one. 😬

I also bought the rem sweetener concealer. I like the shade match and the coverage. It's slightly drying for my more mature under eyes (39yo) so i just have to make sure i really super hydrate first. My main love is the elf halo glow. It suits my skin so well! I have oily skin in a humid southern climate. The halo glow evens my skin beautifully, gives a beautiful natural glow with the perfect amount of coverage on days that i don't wanna wear foundation.

I bought almost 0 makeup, for the past 4 months, while and after fostering a difficult doggo. And then suddenly, in the past 2 weeks, I've bought and received 5 different palettes, andddd just ordered another. 🤦🏻♀️ I ordered the Dollhouse (finally!) and Primal palettes from Blend Bunny. The Wild Berry from Nabla (and a few skin glazings), and the Culture and Garden of Juvia's, from JP. And the liquid shadow in Fula (the blue to purple iridescent one). And I ordered the Colourpop Matte About Hue, yesterday. Because I gotta. All-matte palettes are my jammm! Kinda caught up, all at once. Feeling kind of dumb, because I DEF did not need that all. Not even close.
I LOVE the Milani primer, I find it works just was well as my primer potion, without the giant price tag! I don’t usually have backups but I have a backup of that.
I didn't like it much. Urban decay or smashbox holds way better for me. Milani was just ok but after using others, I realized there were much better out there.

I have a few favorite finds this month. First I’m really liking the Tarte BB Tinted Treatment Primer as a foundation. It provides light coverage, evens out my skin tone, smooths my skin and doesn’t move around. I have mostly oily skin, and it lasts pretty well on me. The other things I like are NARS Matte bronzer and L’Oréal Soft Matte bronzer. They are practically identical and neither look orange on my cool-toned self. I don’t really need both, but I don’t want to return one because it will just get destroyed. So I guess I’ll just be well-bronzed.
Those Enchanted palettes are everything good in this world. I tried the Acai You and Mango 🥭. The first is a colourpop quad in purples. The Mango one is oranges and breathtaking on the eye. I got them in a Colourpop Mystery box and the Plush Like Me and for a Nude palette it has some beautiful shades like an Orangy yellow is so pretty. It has a hint of pink too and really disinterested in Nudes however this is really pretty. ❤ you
Regarding eye primer, I'd also love to see a dedicated video to your fave eye primers. This got me wondering, as a person with oily lids, how well the LH Cosmetics matte face primer would work on oily lids ... and what if combined with the LH blotting powder to set ... Hmmmm! An experiment in the making.

The elf complexion duo brush is the best for all creams. The putty brush idk about but I know the complexion duo brush the big side is soooo good I swear it might change your mind about the putty bronzer and blushes!! I understand now though is it really worth working so hard to make something work so I get it if you're kind of over it ya know lol
I live in the EU and I just got my GiveMeGlow palettes in the mail yesterday. It was my first time ordering from them and shipping was quite expensive, I obviously paid taxes and I am disappointed. "Rave Princess" came broken as expected, no replacement. Considering international shipping plus taxes those palettes ended up being expensive and for me not worth the price or time. I played with them on a set base and the blues end up looking too similar and I really really dislike the shimmer yellow (sooooo thick for no reason). My first impression was not that positive except for the orange shimmer, that is the stand out shade for me.
Kelly Gooch disliked the Pacifica bronzer in light - its a peanut butter sort of colour which is more yellow than the average bronzer. Here’s also dried out in a few weeks. So curious how yours works, Angie!

I've only ever used the elf eye shadow primer, you can't really see it on the eye lid but it does help even tone a little and it is a little tacky.

I have a few favorite finds this month. First I’m really liking the Tarte BB Tinted Treatment Primer as a foundation. It provides light coverage, evens out my skin tone, smooths my skin and doesn’t move around. I have mostly oily skin, and it lasts pretty well on me. The other things I like are NARS Matte bronzer and L’Oréal Soft Matte bronzer. They are practically identical and neither look orange on my cool-toned self. I don’t really need both, but I don’t want to return one because it will just get destroyed. So I guess I’ll just be well-bronzed.
This eye look and yellow top makes me think of a pokémon trainer at an electric gym 🌟⚡

Those Enchanted palettes are everything good in this world. I tried the Acai You and Mango 🥭. The first is a colourpop quad in purples. The Mango one is oranges and breathtaking on the eye. I got them in a Colourpop Mystery box and the Plush Like Me and for a Nude palette it has some beautiful shades like an Orangy yellow is so pretty. It has a hint of pink too and really disinterested in Nudes however this is really pretty. ❤ you
Regarding eye primer, I'd also love to see a dedicated video to your fave eye primers.
This got me wondering, as a person with oily lids, how well the LH Cosmetics matte face primer would work on oily lids ... and what if combined with the LH blotting powder to set ... Hmmmm! An experiment in the making.

The elf complexion duo brush is the best for all creams. The putty brush idk about but I know the complexion duo brush the big side is soooo good I swear it might change your mind about the putty bronzer and blushes!! I understand now though is it really worth working so hard to make something work so I get it if you're kind of over it ya know lol

I live in the EU and I just got my GiveMeGlow palettes in the mail yesterday. It was my first time ordering from them and shipping was quite expensive, I obviously paid taxes and I am disappointed. "Rave Princess" came broken as expected, no replacement. Considering international shipping plus taxes those palettes ended up being expensive and for me not worth the price or time. I played with them on a set base and the blues end up looking too similar and I really really dislike the shimmer yellow (sooooo thick for no reason). My first impression was not that positive except for the orange shimmer, that is the stand out shade for me.
I'm not buying right now, but I really like the smaller Mikayla palette...😁

Kelly Gooch disliked the Pacifica bronzer in light - its a peanut butter sort of colour which is more yellow than the average bronzer. Here’s also dried out in a few weeks. So curious how yours works, Angie!

I wish they would do something other than a rainbow palette. I know they had 1 neutral, but there are other color stories in between.

Marlie Wijn did a YT video on this palette about 3-4 weeks ago. She is in the Netherlands but her channel is in English. Her channel is fairly new but she is adorable! Check out her video if you want info asap. I got to live in Belgium for several years (from Texas) & I LOVE it there! So glad there are more brands coming from there now. (we lived outside Brussels in Overijse) My kids loved attending ISB, it was a great experience for them!
