Okay the foundation wore so beautiful, I just blotted at the end of the day and it looked great, did not break up or bunch up into fine lines, so far it's a hit! None of the eyeshadows faded or creased on me, did not myself experience a lot of glitter fallout throughout the day either. The lipsticks staying power is IMPRESSIVE, but it stayed sticky all day. It reminded me a tad of that NYX two component long-lasting lipstick everyone loved last year. I will try it again with powder and maybe even gloss/lip oil on top.
How did the eyeliner wear in your water line?

How did the foundation wear around your oily parts (thanks, humidity!👍)? I have oily skin, and Hourglass can be hit or miss for me, and it’s really expensive to be trying and not liking.
I haven't been able to try UD yet as they don't release those lipsticks in Europe until autumn but if they're like the Maybelline matte and vinyl inks, try applying using a lip brush rather than the wand.
They're my favourite formula and I find if I use the wand (even scraped off), it'll apply a lot of product and stay sticky whereas with a lip brush, because they're so pigmented, I can apply a tiny bit and spread it out, still get the same colour but they dry down without being sticky.
Angie, did you ever try the LH version of that lip formula? How did that one compare? Thanks!

I had trouble with the Urban Decay lipstick being sticky and I found that it helped to shake the product for longer (about 20 seconds) before applying.
I’ve never tried any if the highlighters that people compare to the Charlotte tilbury, or the Charlotte one either. But you know what gives me that vibe, listening to people describe them and how they look on camera. The maybelline strobing stick from way back in the day( still available I think) everytime I wear it I am amazed tbh. Non glittery, supper healthy looking, easy to blend, etc. Not that anyone asked😂

1. thank you for mentioning the shade Flesh. I bought the palette and I love it but I feel like they didn’t learn their lesson with the glam palette. 2. UD lipstick! I feel the same!!! I love the color but it is so sticky even though it doesn’t transfer.

I feel so validated right now!!! That blue huda gloss is horrible!!!! It doesn’t plump your lips but leaves a blueish tint that makes you look like you’re cold. It doesn’t feel cool at all and tastes foul! 😖 if you lick your lips you’ll feel the burn down your throat 😖

For cooling lip products, I like Buxom. Great in the summer when it’s hot because the cooling sensation helps trick you into feeling colder. 😂
I have the UD lip bond in Unbreakable (a watermelon red). Super pretty color and definitely doesn’t budge (I used it under a mask all day and it still looked as good at the end of the day) but agree on the stickiness. But so is the GXVE beauty one so maybe that’s just how this formula is regardless of brand. 🤷♀️ But would definitely love to find one that gives that finish and staying power without the stickiness. But I definitely recommend for when you’re taking a mask on and off all day as it doesn’t transfer or smudge and the mask will protect you from getting hair or anything stuck on it.
Love Buxom too for the cooling sensation!

OMG! This Hourglass is the only foundation that has ever had me "wanting to pay alot for and buy like right now!" and all my fave TH-cam people are making me want it more now. Great tip on the Blush, I have some beautiful colors (for blush) but I never feel like it looks right on me. FYI: I am 39, and fair/pale skin, blonde hair so it's hard to find blushes and bronzers that don't make me look like I have no idea what I am doing with my makeup, lol. I keep editing this video, because it's like darn your reading my mind with these makeup tips, I needed them...Thank you so much! More videos with these wonderful tips please!!!🥰🤡🙈🙉🙊💋

The ‘noise’ when shaking the lip liquid is a little ball bearing they put in- this helps with mixing up thick liquids, especially when the bottle is still full and there’s no space to move it around. You often find them in nail varnishes too.
I'm curious about the Tarte cream products: the blush, bronzer, and highlighter. Do they dry down or do they stay a bit moist/tacky? The highlighter looks amazing

For the Vice Bonds I find they set with lip liner/crayon. They're kinda tacky without it, but yes they're a lip tint with liquid lipstick hold. I love them, the shades are pretty and they last my 8hr shift! I think it works best on top, I think putting product on top of it doesn't help the tackiness. The Mini palette is interesting. It's kinda the Nabla Analog palette, as far as colour story, so I'll be skipping but I've been loving the looks!
I just got the Urban Decay lipstick, it was super comfy to wear! Just personal taste, but I wish the cap matched the color of the bottle

I love there Fersali skin tune blur. Been using it forever. I love the scent and it does a wonderful job. Also, doesn't seem to interfere with any makeup. It's def a great product. IMO all of their products are amazing.

The Maybelline lasting fix setting spray is actually really amazing - it's more matte and my holy grail for summer
I do find that it works much much better when sandwiched in the makeup- spray after skincare, before foundation- and once after foundation and one more time at the very end -
And if I want more glow I do use my other holy grail which is the Catrice prime & fine setting spray (it is the pink one only) - use that at the end only to bring a bit of glow back but have amazing longevity!!!
Both sprays need to be shaken before use also*
Please please try these - I think you'll love both for their own reason

I had the same experience with the Urban Decay lip bond and didn’t like it at all. Sticky, heavy and was constantly on my mind. Thank goodness Sephora has a liberal return policy

I really like the made by Mitchell stuff usually, but I bought the whole pride collection and I found it very poor quality compared to normal 🙈 I actually went to his verified pages to make sure I hadn't purchased fakes 😬 very disappointed because I've only ever loved the blushes and the pencils before

I'm coming to Austin in early October. I'm meeting some of my half siblings for the 1st time. We're donor children. I'm so excited to see Austin. I heard it's really nice there. We are planning on going to the Renaissance Festival. It would be so cool to run into you somewhere and chat.
I don't mind a slightly tacky lip product. I almost always wear my hair up so I don't have to worry about that and usually tackier lip products wear longer (at least on me) and more comfortably than most lip products that completely dry down. But instead of paying UD prices I'll stick the the Maybelline vinyl inks, LA Girl glossy tints and the Revlon satin inks. Which sound exactly like these but better.

I agree, if you're going to include light beiges/off whites in a palette don't name them "flesh." Bone, Ivory, Warm or Cool Beige, Taupe, Buttermilk, Cream...all acceptable names that could have been used instead.

Hi Angie, flesh doesn't mean skin, it's muscle/other structures on the inside of our bodies.
Flesh is very much used to describe the skin aswell, a word can mean and be used more than for one thing. Had the shadow been red I would have not noted this, but the shadow is beige, not red.
I bought that huda balm- that was so disappointing. Thought it would be minty.
