I was 18, he was almost beating me to death and my 2 year old son screamed mummy in tears from the door, that was the time i knew it was over. I didn't want to raise a son like my ex husband, I left with my son, and I am glad i am raising a boy with soft spot and cocience.
Women learn to choose right. Choose according to the standard/word of God. when you do no matter what happens you can look back to God and say, God I chose this man as your word directed, help me stay while you work on him, or change him from within.
