As a quiet person, whenever I want to give my contribution people become silent and want to listen because it’s not every time they hear me speak. Quietness is a tool also that can be used to your advantage.. scarcity increases value so while you may be silent sometimes, you can still be relevant and valuable. Let people see your value at the same time, be strategic with your speech
Please note I’m not against the message in the video, my attempt is to contribute to it

There's no problem in being introverted.
People like Bill Gates is an introvert (Elon Musk is extrovert)
Just find yourself, and that's all.
Follow your nature, but don't welcome the negatives that come with it (eg for introverts, the negative can be low self esteem - fight it with your life. But you can't fight your introvert nature or else you might be a clown. You only need to practice mindfulness )

All things are working together for your good. While you are waiting for another job, give yourself a permanent job of evangelism and Soul Winning from now on. Go to your church, pick up fliers and tracts, go out and preach the gospel everyday and invite people to church. If you don't live close to your church, evangelise around where you live. Then on service days, if it's an evening service, go to church earlier and evangelise around your church catchment. If it's a morning service eg Sunday, after the service, go out and evangelise in your church catchment. Genuinely pray for the people you are evangelising to everyday ( remember, there's an adversary contending for their souls) Be intentional about your work for the Lord. Don't do these things just because you want to get a job, but do it from a position of love. Let the Spirit of God guide you. It is well with you. God bless you bro..

As a quiet person myself, this message resonates well with me. I don't think he's saying we need to become loud or overly chatty, but more like we should be willing to be assertive and not just passive all the time. The bible also says be swift to hear, slow to speak and slow to wrath.

I used to tell people that there's a difference between being quiet or introverted and being dull. To me, being quiet does not mean you'll be belittled by the world. When you maintain your dignity and policies, the world will take you serious even though you're quiet... And sometimes it saves you lots of problems.
But being dull on the other hand is a problem... That's when the world play with you and don't take you serious... That is also when tou realize your self-esteem will be tampered with

Know when to be silence and when to speak. That great wisdom. Don't always be the first to speak. I'm bit of an introvert but whenever I want to speak in a gathering or among friends everyone keeps quiet to listen to me. That has happened countless times. People who talk always and without control are always "cutoff"

    • @fajumomoses9873

He is not talking about talking too much... Getting yourself involved and contributing indispensable value in wherever you find yourself is the basis of this message, you can be a quiet person in nature and be the most influential.
Don't stay away from the system, get involved and contribute value.
This message is not about quietness as a person's nature. It is about quietness as a person's decision.
      May God give us understanding.

I have discovered that everyone is loud. It depends on how loud they are.
Example: someone who doesn't talk much may write very well. Now you see?

I think it depends on the kind of job you do and what expectations are required of you. Some jobs require you to be loud in writing and some in speaking.
What I have noticed over time is that, many loud mouthed individuals get the job but hardly get it done.

Mk

I really don't know why am laid back. I also sing in my church every Sunday still I can't market a product. What Is actually wrong with me?

Decide that today I will do things differently.
Today I talk to someone new.
Today I will not overthink my words.
      I will be myself.

    • @tpshalom
      @tpshalom 5 หลายเดือนก่อน

I was part of Student Union. You need to be aware of who you are and the fact that devil wants you out because your impact will be Godly. You can't be careless with both men and women. You can't be that Mr. Romantic brother who flirts, they will easily throw you out, you also cannot be the one that eats anyhow or talks without sensitivity to the Holy Spirit. You carry yourself with dignity and understanding the fact that you are the child of the most High God and an ambassador for Christ. You are not the one that gossips so that no one comes accusing you of destroying them at the back. You will ge wise as serpent and gentle as a dove. You also need to pray for the gift of discernment if you have not before because they will certainly send the opposite sex to you. You cannot be too busy to pray because your strength comes from God, your spirit must be strong in the Lord, you need to fast and observe vigil as much as you can. Your work must be excellent. It's not a careless terrain. You must act like you are in the army of the Lord. God is with you, that you should always know, He is Emmanuel.

Well it depends what you are looking for and what is God calling you to do. Ours is a generation led by pride disguised as humility. Everybody wants to make a name and influence. But I think I don’t have to follow the crowd, rather I strive for intimacy with Christ and listen to the guidance of his spirit in me.
Am not trying to influence people, am not trying to gain followers, if people see that God is with you and works through you, no matter where you are people will come searching for you.
So be true to yourself and to your nature whether extrovert or introvert. Always remember that virtue lies in the middle.
    God bless you 🙏🏾
