if you want to find more sustainable (and cheap) ways to get yarn, is highly recommend using reclaimed yarn! If you are unaware, reclaimed yarn is yarn that is frogged from old clothing/ projects! i once thrifted a large mens jumper for 50p(less than a dollar) and got just under 600g of a nice DK red and black acrylic yarn :0
