- In today's video, we'll be performing some routine maintenance on my 5th Gen Camaro SS. We'll be covering an Oil change, differential fluid change and spark plugs replacement on my Camaro SS that is also applicable for all 5th Generation (2010-2015) Camaro SS models and trims. Little tip here. Always take off the fill plug first when draining your diff fluid, because if it doesnt come off, then you wont be able to fill it back up :)

it depends on how hard you drive the car but 50-60K miles usually.

Go to a parts store and look for a spark plug socket with a swivel. I just bought a 2014 SS and have awhile before I need new plugs, but recently replaced my plugs on my Silverado and it was essential to getting the 8th plug out. Good luck
@@jakethomas_419From my understanding, the 2014 engine bay is slightly different from the earlier models. I'm not sure how true that is but a friend of mine that has the refresh was telling me that its much easier on those.
I have a 2010 and dude, that passenger side SUCKS. Especially closer to the firewall. The thing that helped me the most was getting a short magnetic socket.

i have a 06 gto manual, i doubt the differential has ever been done. i wanna upgrade the gears, it’ll one wheel peel in 1st but the rear will kick out in 2nd and both will spin then.
would changing the fluid be my issue or should i upgrade. not looking to rebuild tbh, would rather spend more money for the upgrade
Did you decide whether your selling her or not ? I have a weekend warrior 12' modified 2SS , can't decide to sell or not cause I love my 5th gen way too much lol but I also really want a C7 Z06 or a GT350 ( my other dream cars )
