I get a boo boo cap to put over your durag when you sleep. The boo boo cap is semi tight and I don't have a issue with my durag coming off. Hope this helps.

The best method I’ve found is actually double ragging...when you put two du rags on the first will move but the second won’t. Also silky du rags are horrible. If you’re gonna use silky rags it’s better to have a stocking cap underneath so it doesn’t move. Hope this helps brother
Put your du rag on, tie it then compress after. And dont fold it up then tie. Just wrap it around and tie. When you compress by putting a cap on top then tie the cap seems to life the du rag off. So you wrap with du rag. Tie then put compression on top. I never had a problem with my rag coming off or any lines on my head

I use three compressions because I'm a wild sleeper as well. I have a silk drag as the one that actually touches my hair i leave a little hanging so i can fold it over the next cap then it put a BooBoo cap on top then tie the drag around that and then put another BooBoo cap and it works perfectly fine for me.
Put on the head cap first inside out but leave a little space for the durag to go on the skin then put on the durag also inside out because silky on sulky will slide off but as the ends of the durag is going to be on your forehead it wont slide of as much
You may have to get a higher taper so that durag line doesn’t appear in your hair in the back 🤷🏾♂️that’s what I would do or buy a Velcro head wrap , widen the straps out when you put your durag over your forehead and then wrap the Velcro head wrap around the durag that’s on your head ...
As a straight hair waver lol i have the same problem honestly i throw on the rag then the cap over my ears too sometimes tends to help, also use more of a stocking cap texture as silky on silky type material will tend to slide off eachother 💯
Have you tried using a satin or silk pillowcase in conjunction with your durag? Having a satin or silk pillowcase will cause less friction on the durag, allowing the two to slip and slide more easily against each other and hopefully the durag should stay on better. Try it and let me know.

At least 2 brush sessions a day and 2-3 wash and styles a week. If you're a course hair waver (4c) then 2 wash n styles, dont wash and style everyday it's not good for your hair. Wash n styles duration depend on your hair length, whether you're wolfing or not but typically if you want good results then between 35-60minutes

To keep my durag on I wear a nike skimask. It keeps to your head real tight to keep your waves nice. It's light and breathable.
