Man this is such a wealth of info especially the links you put In for product guidance is priceless. Thanks for taking the time to share this and all the hard work you put into making the video. Much appreciated 💪💯
Bro...between you and Lucas I basically feel like a peasant. Incredible setup. My wife doesn't know it yet, but I may have an AP by the end of next season (probably just a 120) and I'm going to be incorporating a lot of this onto mine.
Dude the 120 is PERFECT. It’s lighter than the 136 therefore slightly faster as well. There are so many for sale used you can get a steal! Appreciate you bro
I do currently power my fish finder but not live on the yak power system. I added a fuse for the fish finder on the wire going to the fish finder which it was not really set up for. If I did it again I’d keep my fish finder off the yak power system. There is really no need for a switch for it when there is already a power button.
Awesome kayak and love the setup!!! I'm sooo NEW to KAYAKS, I feel like a FISH!! LoL (Dad Joke) My Fam ordered me an OT Sportsman PDL 106 and it should be here this week!!!" Do you happen to have a video on what's inside your YakAttack box? Great stuff and thanks for sharing!
Agreed take your time you’re doing great.I’m definitely still dialing in mine not that easy reading this mug but will concur this expensive tool for sure. It’s got to earn its money lol.
Dude I love your kayak setup your the Big Dog Dad on the water no go get some tournament wins on that. I’m looking forward to see how Bearded Dad fishing team does in the knucklehead tournament represent!!!!!!!❤❤
Do you have a package deal with everything I need do my add on’s? I need the control panel to hook all the accessories up to and a few other things. Hopefully that’s not to confusing! Lol
Nice setup, I see you have the Navarre floating prop nut. I placed one on this spring. Do you find the prop noise is louder? I'm going to place the original wing nut back this weekend to see if there is a difference.
Question - how do you reach the stuff in the back of the Yak? If your cooler is all the way at the back..whats the method to get to it when on the water? thank you
Question for ya dude…love your videos and am just starting to think about moving from the bank into a kayak. I primarily fish small lakes along the Colorado Front Range. Anyway, been watching a lot of walkthroughs and setups and rarely see someone have a permanent/dedicated space for an actual cooler for food and beverages. Is that not much of a thing or are folks just skipping it?
Appreciate you bro! The cooler behind my seat where I keep my plastics is money for food/fish bag. It fits perfectly. I just dont harvest anything so I pack a tiny lunch tote with my drinks and snacks.
Just observing human behaviors. Throughout the observing I seen bass boats start out. Everyone had to get one. It was one person's duty to out due the next guy's boat. It's just a battle as to who can afford the latest and greatest expensive gadgets. The game becomes un-win-able and turns into a rich person's game to even keep up. Which was pointless. The whole idea behind kayak fishing was to simplify going fishing. Thow a boat in the back of the truck or RV roof top and go. Now there is getting so much garbage mounted on these new kayaks. All getting VERY heavy and full of electronics. And now many are looking better sitting on a trailer for launching. So then, what is the purpose of the kayak. Might as well just stick with a bass boat. By far more room to move around and for sure more stable. I know in some states with kayaks, if you start adding any sort of electric drive or engine power. One has to register and license them. What is the point then. Bass boat still is ahead. A good fisherman doesn't need all that fancy expensive garbage. Most only use that stuff 0.5% of the time anyway. I really like kayaking, I have 7 of them at the moment. Several different designs for different purposes, and I have my bass boat. I just have a hard time seeing the purpose of these super heavy kayaks all loaded up with garbage gear and pointless electrons. Just sort of defeats the whole purpose of kayaking. Too each their own, I guess. Just my thoughts and observation!
Kayak fishing can be a simple as you want it to be, or as technical as you want it to be. That’s the beauty of it. Every set up is going to be built specifically for that angler and their unique style and ambitions.
@@BeardedDadFishing You are completely missing my point. Yea, everyone can add whatever features they want. My point is whatever features that people add. It all seems to be a waste of money. It's like some sort of competition as to who has the most or more expensive gadgets. 99.9 % of that garbage a person adds. It's likely most are not even used at all while fishing. Hey, I am guilty also! For instance, I used to have a nice fish finder on my boat. I noticed I never really looked at it at all. It was just a play toy in the beginning. In a very short time, I just quit bringing it out of the locker. With so many gadgets now-a-days. Might as well just have a self-navigating boat. One that just goes and gets the fish on its own. Hell! A person won't ever have to worry about wet feet or sunburn. Lol!

WOW! Awesome setup that battery is sick. That's some futuristic accessories you have on that thing. I wonder what kayaks will be like in 10 years.🤙
Looking great Jay! Just got a Sasquatch bar for my AP136 and taking it out this weekend for a tournament.
Awesome Matt! I love mine so far!
Always helpful! I just got the 120 and will be looking at your various videos for key light gear options.
Thanks brother. You're gonna love that new AP!

Very well thought out rig. Thanks for sharing. I always enjoy your content.
Thanks for watching! 💪🏽
Nice setup BD. I have a 136 Big water and setup similar. I have both a bixpie and a water snack with autoboat spot lock on it.
Awesome man. Appreciate you!
There you go again..... now i have to get an Autopilot!!!!!!!
Dude. Your life will CHANGE when you get that AP. Love mine!

Excellent video my brother! Great setup! When you doing that Panoptic’s video?
Appreciate it my guy! I put that video up about two weeks ago. Let me know your thoughts when you watch it.
I watch all your videos my man. I mean that Panoptics at work. I’m still getting used to mine.
@@ciscokid2444 gotcha! Might be a bit. I’m definitely getting used to mine. Summer might be money when those fish start getting down lower.

Nice! Which part?

@@killswitch7775 gotchu! I’m in Allentown. Way on the other side lol
Perhaps a weedless prop, I love mine. You will lose a little speed but it's worth it.
Not a bad call! This thing definitely gets tangled up in the weeds.
Nice setup, I see you have the Navarre floating prop nut. I placed one on this spring. Do you find the prop noise is louder? I'm going to place the original wing nut back this weekend to see if there is a difference.
Yeah forgot to mention that one. I have not noticed any difference in being noisier since putting it on.
Question - how do you reach the stuff in the back of the Yak? If your cooler is all the way at the back..whats the method to get to it when on the water? thank you
Good question! I turn around to grab it. For the gear in the back, I can turn in my seat and grab it pretty easily, so long as the wind isn’t nuts.
How much does you yak weigh now with all your new mods and electronics?
Probably 170 when it’s all said and done
How do you like the center mount on the graph? I'm thinking about doing it, but worri3d about getting access to the motor.
Love it. I can easily get back there to access the motor. Had to clear a few muck ups already.
Any complaints on the AP136. Debating between it and the Nucanoe Unlimited with an Xi3
Zero complaints. Both options are fantastic honestly. The upside to the AP is that it's ready out of the box, but Unlimited is money too!
Do you have a problem with gators in a kayak?
I’m up north where we don’t have swamp puppies. But I’ve kayaked with them before and they left me alone completely.

Some people do it. I run two YakAttack boxes and out my lunch, snacks and beverages in the back one. I mainly keep tools, medical and lunch in there.
There are seat coolers that fit on the back of the seat that will work great for food and beverage
Appreciate you bro! The cooler behind my seat where I keep my plastics is money for food/fish bag. It fits perfectly. I just dont harvest anything so I pack a tiny lunch tote with my drinks and snacks.
Thanks for the replies, makes sense. Likely wouldn’t carry too much…a sandwich or easy snack and a couple of drinks.
damn!
going to get a bunch of random phone calls after showing your number.
