I have a 2020 Fiesta 1.0 EcoBoost with the 74kw output. And despite being a lower output than this Puma, its much lower weight and size makes so much of a difference. It feels miles faster than what it claims on paper. I live 1600 meters above sea level in South Africa where its constantly warm as hell. And still I managed a 0 to 100 in around 9.5 seconds with a terrible launch. Even here in very not ideal conditions I still got to 100 kmh in a full second faster than factory claims. I can't wait until my Exhaust, down pipe, Intercooler and tune are finished, it'll be a real little rocket then.
@@Michka1001 just got one. It's not at all embarrassing. Yes it's not as smooth as my dad's Camry both in floor acceleration and getting over bumps but I love the kick it gives, kinda push me into the seats every time. And yup, the looks of it 😍
Ford's 3cyl ecoboost engines have always been fun characterful little engines so between the two the Puma is the pick imo but I don't understand why Ford didn't put the bigger 1.5 ecoboost in it? One of the main reasons I went with The Focus St-Line instead! Alot more power and an 8 spd proper automatic instead of a dct.
In Europe we get a top of the range ford puma, it's the puma st with 1.5 turbo ecoboost engine, has 200bhp and 320nm torque does 0 to 100kmh in 6.7 seconds and max limited speed of 137 mph or around 230kmh but have seen video's of people on autobahn going 247 kmh in the puma st 👌👍🏴
Love your videos as well.. but the real question is why would anyone buy either of these vehicles? There's larger, quicker vehicles out there thay get the same fuel mileage and don't cost much more.. I just dont see the appeal of these.
@fifo1132 really? Kia Niro I driven got 5.2/L per 100k, Mazda CX5 I've gotten to 7L, even a Santa Fe I've gotten to 8.7.. these underpowered tiny crossovers won't get much better mileage.
What about the engine Torque figures, the Juke is 200 nm and the Puma is 205 nm for the 125 BHP engine, but does this figure include the electric motor, if so how much torque do you have when the battery is depleted.
But cheaper to manufacturer less components interesting though they don't charge any less .give you a tip for less coin you can have a Suzi s cross with a proper 4cyl turbo punching out 100kw 0 100 in about 8.5 sec and long term will no doubt be far more dependable than these. Two over priced duds that according bro sales charts are a flop
Wouldn't say st line 155 bhp is slow there qwick for 1 litre test both n st line goes like a rocket tel u what back in the day I had my xr3i Fort that was fast puma feels alot quicker than me old sport cars I had back in the day
how do you not take price in actual comparison? a juke in some parts of europe goes up to 24000euros and the puma stays at 15000euros, the puma is sooo much better for the price and its so reliable and full of features that the juke doesn't have, while being more aerodynamic.
i don't understand why people buy these cars, yes they're very economical but they're so damn slow, call me old fashioned but I prefer having a car with a bigger engine, anything under a V6 is a no go for me
Are you a kid or what? In what realistic world do you need an unreliable, huge engine that eats fuel for breakfast for city purposes? We bought the Juke not long ago as another car in the family and it's perfect for everything I need. City, a bit of trips to the weekend house, etc. Good fuel consumption, reliable, has enough power for any kind of an overtake in the city or for hill starts, for a good start on the red light. Normal people buy these cars, not racers.
@@NextGenGamer1 someone that can afford such a vehicle, plus I need a powerful vehicle for towing, and since when does having a big engine mean that a car is unreliable? Plus I would never buy the juke, plenty of better options out there in the small SUV market.
@@Stormboi_TMP You see, 80% don't need towing. They need a regular, comfortable point A to point B car that's stylish, has the needed equipment and will not betray them. Plus, only other options for this price were a Yaris Cross in a much worse trim and it wasn't available when I needed the car, Skoda Kamiq and Peugeot 2008 with a weaker 100hp engine which was also supposed to come too late. More than half a year later and I can't be happier with the choice. In the Cross, I wouldn't even have the automatic air condition and navigation for example.
That is a lot of money for a stupid 1 liter, a definite step back from the sweet, punchy 1.6 liter MR16DDT engine that was the newest engine from Nissan a few years ago. For the price of a base Jule you can buy a MG HS Base which has 17 inch alloy, 1.5 four cylinder turbo, Mid Size SUV with 7 year warranty. for an extra $1,000 the next trim gets synthetic leathers, key-less entry, Sat Nav, rear seat recline-able, lumber support for driver, LCD/analogue dash, climate control, chrome trim, fog lights, lots of USB charge ports, Leather steering wheel and gear knob, sport metal pedals, push button start, LED tail light, indicators on mirror, rear camera, and rear sensors, Driver Safety Suite systems, DRL, Adaptive cruise all for $30,990 Australia dollars Driver away and I forgot touchscreen 10 inch infotainment. I was Shocked I could not believe it... $31K drive away price
Exciting stuff starts at 4:10
Hi, PDriveTV, can you change the decibel meter in dBA rating if possible? It would make the comparison more realistic to our ears.
Exciting you say?
Gearbox : dct or dsg ?

interesting mods. Which tuning chip company are you considering?
@@TheHayabusa09 Either celtic tuning. Or a place in Potchefstroom called JNESTuned

Thanks!
Nissan juke is greatest S.U.V 😍 I love
4:56 - 5:13 are you sure you had your foot to the floor? 🤣
Ohh that Nissan turbo sound 😩🤌🏾👌🏾👌🏾👌🏾👌🏾
19" wheels is overkill, imagine how much nicer it'd drive on 17" wheels
The puma looks like the old nissan juke with those front lights
Have the Juke. Lots of fun to drive
Why would you embarrass yourself by being the Juke? 🤦♂️

These 3 cylinder turbo engines just need a little bit more power I reckon just my opinion though
Puma also comes with 155 and 200 PS

Plz do more such comparos....
I prefer the nissan tbh
what about the fiability ?
It's 180nm for juke or 200? cause that's what i read in their site.
180nm along with an overboost. Overboost is when you press the throttle fully and you get extra 20nm for 25 seconds
do you not have the 155 HP (115 KW) Ford Puma in Australia?
To my old ears the Nissan sounds better.
Yup, it sounds like a jet sometimes, that's what I feel when driving
I’ll have the juke
That ford needs a barra swap
Even an NA would make it a rocket.
That digital tacho is laggy 😕
No contest....
Nissan Juke All Day Long !!!!

You drive a diesel and you’re talking about ‘emotion’? 😂 I love a diesel myself but come on man
11,39 for the Juke???
I do 9,7 with mine???? (Measured with Dragy)
That's great. This is the best we saw with this particular example on the day. We use a Racelogic Vbox Sport, which runs a 20Hz processor.
Highly doubt it. That’s not realistic for a 114hp small suv, you must be going downhill a bit.
nissan better
No 🖕
No test both puma 155 bhp wins along way
Kenapa ga keluar di indonesia 😭😭
